Hi, as the power of eye is so high, only laser lasik surgery would help you, consult an opthalmic surgeon (eye surgeon) for further details and recommendation.

What is keratoconus? Where this disease treatment is better? Which cause this disease occur?
Keratoconus, often abbreviated to “KC”, is a non-inflammatory eye condition in which the normally round dome-shaped cornea progressively thins causing a cone-like bulge to develop. This results in significant visual impairment. The cornea is the clear window of the eye and is responsible for refracting most of the light coming into the eye. Therefore, abnormalities of the cornea severely affect the way we see the world making simple tasks, like driving, watching TV or reading a book difficult. Keratoconus treatment depends on your symptoms. When your symptoms are mild, your vision can be corrected with eyeglasses. Later you may need to wear special hard contact lenses to help keep vision in proper focus. Here are other ways that your ophthalmologist might treat keratoconus: Intacs. This is a small curved device that your ophthalmologist surgically puts in your cornea. Intacs help flatten the curve of your cornea to improve vision. Collagen cross-linking. Your ophthalmologist uses a special UV light and eye drops to strengthen the cornea. Doing this helps to flatten or stiffen your cornea, keeping it from bulging further. Corneal transplant. When symptoms are severe, your ophthalmologist may suggest a corneal transplant. Your ophthalmologist replaces all or part of your diseased cornea with healthy donor cornea tissue.

No you cannot. You must use glasses or contact lens and if feasible do surgery and can avoid glasses.

Color blindness occurs when there is a problem with the color-sensing granules (pigments) in certain nerve cells of the eye. These cells are called cones. They are found in the retina, the light-sensitive layer of tissue that lines the back of the eye. If just one pigment is missing, you may have trouble telling the difference between red and green. This is the most common type of color blindness. If a different pigment is missing, you may have trouble seeing blue-yellow colors. People with blue-yellow color blindness usually have problems identifying reds and greens, too. The most severe form of color blindness is achromatopsia. A person with this rare condition cannot see any color, so they see everything in shades of gray. Achromatopsia is often associated with lazy eye, nystagmus (small, jerky eye movements), severe light sensitivity, and extremely poor vision. Most color blindness is due to a genetic problem. About 1 in 10 men have some form of color blindness. Very few women are color blind. Symptoms Symptoms vary from person to person, but may include: • Trouble seeing colors and the brightness of colors in the usual way • Inability to tell the difference between shades of the same or similar colors Often, the symptoms may be so mild that some people do not know they are color blind. A parent may notice signs of color blindness when a child is learning his or her colors. Rapid, side-to-side eye movements (nystagmus) and other symptoms may occur in severe cases. Treatment There is no known treatment. However, there are special contact lenses and glasses that may help people with color blindness tell the difference between similar colors. Outlook (Prognosis) Color blindness is a lifelong condition. Most people are able to adjust to it without difficulty or disability. Homoeopathic medicine SANTONINE 3X ( Dr Reckeweg) Chew 2 tab twice daily for 3 months. If the color blindness is partial ie. If one pigment is missing then the above homoeopathic medicine is very useful in that case as seen in my general practise.I will advise you ,that what ever is your condition, you should start taking this medicine.Purely homoeopathic, noside effects.

My eye is kcaratoconoused I got c3r done. Will my huge power of 7 decrease after continuously wearing the power glasses.

My eye is kcaratoconoused I got c3r done. Will my huge power of 7 decrease after continuously wearing the power glasses.
Hi lybrate-user! c3r generally reduces or stops progression. In some cases reversal or decrease in power can happen. In your case and age I don, t expect much progression. Stability of glasses number is the desired goal. Wearing glasses has no bearing on glasses number.
