I scratched my eyelid with my finger,the eyelid swelled,and seven days later, the swelling has gone,but the eyelid has drooped by half. Have I damaged a nerve? Is this curable,temporary or permanent?

If your nerve was damaged you would not be able to move the eyelid . Drooping might due to some persistent swelling or might be due to some partial nerve involvement. You should get it checked first.

If you have dark eye circles, ensure you take adequatefluids and water at regular intervals, plenty of green leafy veg n fresh fruits, sleep well. Make sure you don't have anemia. Sometimes they can be hereditary. If you have a black spot. It should be some form of mole or pigmentation. If cosmetically unappealing you may consult oculoplasty surgeon, dermatologist for. Possibility of laser removal.

Hello Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses.

Wear protective glasses while you r travelling to avoid dust and dirt entering the eyes. Dip a handkerchief in cold water and keep it over closed eyes for 2 minutes during breaks, you will feel better. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle number.
