Genital injury refers to any kind of injury in the genital areas of both men and women. Symptoms of the same include pain in the areas along with scarring, visible injuries or similar kinds of physical discomforts. Usually trouble with urination is the most common symptom of an injury, which can be both internal or external in nature. Bleeding can also occur.
HOW IS GENITAL INJURY DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis of the same is done by a physical examination of the area by a Gynaecology expert. If needed a scan is also done.
HOW IS GENITAL INJURY TREATED?
The treatment is based on the nature of the injury. In certain cases it may require surgery to get back to normal and in many cases simple first aid would help. The aim is to stop the bleeding and avoid inflammation.
