Gallbladder cancer is a localized disease and grows progressively. The symptoms may not show up in the early stages. Abdominal pain on one side and feeling sick often are some of the symptoms reported. Gallbladder enlargement is another symptom that could indicate cancer.
HOW IS GALLBLADDER CANCER DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis of the same is done by a general physician who would check you for these symptoms and do a biopsy, USG and scan because this form of cancer is the most difficult to detect.
HOW IS GALLBLADDER CANCER TREATED?
The cancer can be cured, if it is diagnosed early, by removal of gall bladder, a part of the liver and the affected lymph nodes.
