Dsap or Disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis is a skin disorder which causes dry reddish brown scaly patches on the arms and legs.
HOW IS DSAP DIAGNOSED?
The diagnosis will be carried out by the general physician or a dermatologist who will conduct a skin tests as well as a blood test in order to find the presence of the faulty carrier gene that may have caused the condition.
HOW IS DSAP TREATED?
There are different kinds of over the counter creams and ointments available that help in treating the same. Some of these include Cryotherapy, 5-Fluorouracil cream and Imiquimod cream that are applied externally to provide some respite from the same.
