Hello lybrate-user and welcome to lybrate. As an urologist, I can understand your concern. You should write the medication he's taking at present. Also, urine culture report, has not given. Is he a diabetic or taking any other medication. Do the following tests and send the reports here. 1. Blood routine, rbs, creatinine, lft, platelets, and psa. 2. Ultrasound scan-kub, with pvr. Tell him to drink about 10 glasses fluids daily. According to the reports, I can give you an expert opinion. Wishing him well.

Hello As an urologist, I can understand your concern fully. Stones of 1 cm and 0.8 cm are not large size. It's not something to worry about, unless there's bleeding in urine or severe pain. If the kidney is blocked, it needs urgent treatment. He should drink 12-15 glasses fluids daily. If i've your scan report with latest blood creatinine, uric acid, and sugar, I can give you an expert opinion.

Hello welcome to lybrate. Normal intake needed for an adult is about 8-10 glasses liquids per day. If you're passing urine frequently, you need to get tested and according to the reports, treatment should cure you of your problem. But avoiding drinking in minimal needs will lead to dehydration, which can cause complications. You are welcome to contact me for expert treatment as an urologist.

Hello and welcome to lybrate. For small size stones, less than 6mm, maintain 12-15 glasses liquids daily. Avoid milk and dairy products on a regular basis. Also, red meats occasionally is advisable. Further advice can be given, if you can consult me with details of blood and scan reports.

My kidney stone 10 mm. So I ask you to any easy method to permanently stop making stone in kidney.
Hello and welcome to lybrate. As the stone size is 1 cm, it's big enough to get it out of your kidney. It can be easily treated with a procedure called eswl. As an urologist, I must tell you, there's no permanent cure of stone, but observe preventive steps. Drink atleast 12-15 glasses fluids daily. Avoid milk and dairy products in excess. Red meats also, should be taken once or twice a week only.

Hello and welcome to lybrate. If you're having severe pain in the flank area, it's likely to be due to a stone. You can see a doctor and get relieved with a painkiller injection. Then the doctor will check your urine and blood, and get an ultrasound scan of your abdomen. If reported as a stone, treatment will depend on various factors. Feel free to consult me, if you've any other other doubt.

Hello and welcome to lybrate. A stone size of 4-5 mm, usually flushes out in almost 90 per cent people, provided, one drinks 12-15 glasses daily. It also depends on position of stone in kidney. Get your ultrasound scan repeated in 1 month, to confirm the stone is out. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Im suffering from kidney stone then what should I eat or drink for further precaution.?
Hello and welcome to lybrate. Kidney stone treatment depends on it's size, number, block to kidney, etc, etc. Most important in prevention is, to maintain 12-15 glasses liquids daily. Avoid milk and dairy products, red meat and fish bones. If your uric acid was high, you should check blood uric acid periodically, to keep in normal levels. Other precautions in diet depend on reports of stone analysis and metabolic tests done at time of stone treatment.

Hello and welcome to lybrate. Your symptoms suggest, you could have a prostate gland enlargement or a urinary infection. The blood report shows a high level of your bad cholesterol, like triglycerides and ldl. Your good cholesterol should be above 45-55. Kidney function is normal. You need to get your blood sugar, urine routine and culture, psa, and a ultrasound scan of abdomen. Also, a urologist should examine you and the prostate gland and will advise further treatment after seeing the reports.

When I go to the toilet to doing urine but it irritate me. How can I solve this problem?
Hello and welcome to lybrate. There are several causes for irritation as you describe. Try to describe if you've burning while passing urine, if you're getting itching over the area of passing urine, or you have any problem over the skin of the penis. Treatment will depend on the type of irritation you have. Also mention your age and if you're on any other medication.
