Please help me I want to know about what is degenerating cell? Why it's occur? At which age this occurs? I had done FNAC test of breast infection I'm suffering from Granulomatous inflammation. And my report there is also written that few degenerating cell are seen. I want to know about degenerating cell.

BHMS
Homeopath, Raebareli
It means change from a higher to a lower form, especially change of tissue to a lower or less functionally active form. When there is chemical change of the tissue itself, it is true degeneration; when the change consists in the deposit of abnormal matter in the tissues, it is infiltration. Please note that it can occur at any age.

My wife is 3 months pregnant now. She saw some dried blood on her underwear this morning. After that no bleeding was observed. Doctor checked her and recommended complete bed rest for few days. Is everything OK?

MD - Alternate Medicine, BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
The bleeding can cause complications in pregnancy and if she does not have absolute bed rest, it can lead to miscarriage. Best not to make her work or do any physical task for 1 - 2 months.

MBBS
Sexologist, Panchkula
You doesn’t get pregnant. I advise you to do semen analysis test after 4 days of abstinence from sex & tell me the report for better guidance. You should do sex at fertile period that is from 12th to 18th day after start of periods.

These symptoms happen because of hormonal changes in the body notjing to be fone for that except for symptomatic treatment like painkillers etc and for your weight you will have to make some effort to reduce it cut down on your calory intake and increase your activity and exercise routine so that you burn more calories than you consume.

There are various causes of irregular period , but the most common is a hormone imbalance. And some other causes are mainly -Stress -New cycle , that is the irregularity experienced by some young girls at the onset of the periods. Their cycle can be irregular for months or years whilst it is establishing itself. -Dietary problems , e.g. Anorexia, bulimia or simply poor diet -Too much exercise -Drugs - prescription and recreational -Break in routine -Thoughts and emotions -Sexual activity - especially when it is a new occurrence -Anxiety about pregnancy -Illness or physiological imbalance e.g. Thyroid conditions (-i suggest you some home remedy -Take ½ teaspoon finely ground cinnamon (dalchini) every night along with 1 cup milk. -Powder 1 teaspoon dried mint (pudina) leaves and take with 1 teaspoon honey, thrice daily. Tab. Rajpravartini vati Befor food.

My wife got pregnant and she now completing 1.5 months. Today she saw slightly bleeding. What is the causes for it? Is it dangerous to pregnant? Please help.

DGO, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Please go and see a gynaecologist immediately so as to know the cause of the bleeding. Your gynaecologist would most probably do an ultrasound. She needs to be under a gynaecologist supervision.

I am 28 years married lady. Having problem of PCOD I have irregular period. Last 3 month I hadn't period yet. I have done pregnancy test. But result was negative. What should I do?

BHMS

Hello. We can't make the grey hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature greying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine – Schwabe's Acid Phos. 200/ once daily and Weisbaden 200/ twice daily – all of them for 1 month. And a multivitamin - A to Z/ 1 cap. daily once for 1 month (as deficiency of zinc, copper and selenium can also cause premature greying). Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Revert me back.

Dependent Personality Disorder

Dependent personality disorder (dpd) is one of a cluster of disorders defined by symptoms of anxiety and fear. The specific, identifying symptoms include:

  • being emotionally dependent on others; feeling they can’t take care of themselves
  • investing a lot of time and effort in trying to please significant people
  • displaying clingy, passive and needy behavior
  • avoiding disagreements for fear of losing approval and support
  • experiencing separation anxiety and intense fear of abandonment
  • finding it hard to be alone
  • putting the needs of others before their own
  • tolerating mistreatment and abuse for fear of disapproval and abandonment
  • being crushed, and feeling helpless, when relationships end – and forming new relationships as soon as possible
  • being unable to make even the simplest decision without the input and reassurance of others
  • rarely taking the initiative
  • avoiding personal responsibility
  • avoiding responsible jobs and careers that require independent, autonomous functioning
  • being over-sensitivity to criticism
  • feeling negative and pessimistic; expecting to disappoint and fail
  • having low self esteem and lacking confidence, including a belief that they are unable to care for themselves.
  • The cause of disorder is still unclear, and probably includes both a genetic and environmental component. Some researchers have speculated that it could be linked to an authoritarian or overprotective parenting style – which acts as a trigger for a genetic predisposition.

Treatment is usually initially sought for some other problem or concern – such as feeling overwhelmed – so that they can’t cope with life. Also, sufferers will often have a mood disorder so they seek help for depression or anxiety at first.

The normal treatment for this particular disorder is counselling or psychotherapy. However, the emphasis is short term therapy so the person doesn’t form a dependency – and then look to the counsellor to take care of them. Prognosis with support is generally good.
