The abnormal response or reaction of the immune system of the body to milk and products containing milk is known as milk allergy. The symptoms of this allergic reaction could be vomiting, digestive problems such as diarrhoea and stomach cramps and hives. In severe cases a patient could experience anaphylaxis.

Diagnosis can be done by a general physician who would do a skin and blood test to check for signs of allergies.
HOW IS MILK ALLERGY TREATED?
Avoiding milk and products that contain milk is the best course of treatment for this disorder. In case milk or milk based products have been consumed then antihistamines would be administered to relieve the symptoms of the allergic reaction caused.
