Hypophosphatemic Rickets is a hereditary disorder that is caused defective absorption of calcium and responsiveness to vitamin D. Formation of teeth and bones depends largely on the calcium content in blood. Symptoms vary within the same family. Common symptoms are:

This disorder can be treated by the oral intake of phosphate in either solution or tablets.
