Hyperkinetic Disorder is a psychiatric disorder in which the individual exhibits enduring pattern of severe developmentally inappropriate inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity at various situations. This condition severely impairs academic, social and work performance. Symptoms are:

• Frequent switching over from one activity to another
HOW IS HYPERKINETIC DISORDER DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis of the same can be done by your pediatrician who would be checking for signs of your child being overactive, observing them in closed settings and also doing some blood tests.
HOW IS HYPERKINETIC DISORDER TREATED?
While Hyperkinetic Disorder is treatable, it is advised to visit a Psychiatric/General Physician for its diagnosis and treatment. In most of the cases, Hyperkinetic Disorder is treated through medication.
