HOW IS HEARING LOSS DIAGNOSED?
ENT specialist will diagnose hearing loss by asking symptoms and past health and by doing a physical exam. He will use a lightened instrument and detect problems in the ear canal, eardrum and middle ear, including earwax, obstruction in the ear canal. Ear infection or injury to the ear.
HOW IS HEARING LOSS TREATED?
Treatment for temporary hearing loss includes use of medications along with temporary aids. If the hearing deficiency has happened because of internal injuries, then in such cases a surgery may be done along with providing hearing aids.
