Exams and tests conducted to diagnose head and neck cancer vary depending on the symptoms and may include a biopsy, endoscopy, blood or urine tests, X-rays, CT scans, MRIs and PET scans.
HOW IS HEAD AND NECK CANCER TREATED?
Therapy or treatment for this form of cancer includes radiation, chemotherapy, etc. In some cases, it is possible to surgically remove the lump or tumour. However, this is a very risky process, especially if the same is close to the brain or causes nerves damage.
