At early stages, fluoride treatment or placing fluoride varnish can be used to remineralize the teeth. At this stage a change in the baby's diet should include: 1. Limiting acidic foods 2. Limiting juices, especially citrus juices 3. Substituting water for juice, formula or milk in the child's bottle
