Its advisable to take inhaler regularly as per advice. Alternative medicines in research have not found to have long term benefits such as cure, so better to prevent further lung damage by controlling the disease well

27 is too young an age for heart attack, that too for a female. A sincere advice is- follow a recommended diet, take your medicines as per advice by a specialist. Exercise regularly to an extent as advised by your cardiologist. And hence control your weight.

post TB cough may remain for years sometimes as TB disease may leave some scars in the patients lung that is abnormal and result in coughing due to various reasons. But other symptoms like fever, weight loss, appetite loss should not be ignored and a proper check up is advisable

My cousin has tb and is isolated in a room for a month as he has a 4 and half year old child. The child is not allowed into his room and vice versa. It's a month now. After how many days will the quarantine period be over. So he can be back with he child again. Thanks.

In case he was a sputum positive tuberculosis cases, his sputum can be rechecked for TB bacteria and if its negative now then he requires no isolation anyways

you should avoid exposure to dust and may use protection like mask while cleaning. Keeping inhaler handy for use at time of symptoms is also a good option

the best thing is avoid dust entering your nose by avoiding dusty atmosphere and also using face mask in dusty areas. If breathing problem occurs then use of inhalers may be required

A long standing asthma patient if gets increase in symptoms many times requires further hospital or clinic visits, over that in case of your patient he also has other symptoms like loss of memory and irrelevant talking, so that a reason enough to further support my opinion to take him to a doctor immediately.

Anti TB treatment has a very significant and positive effect on patients health and patient starts feeling much better even when he is still on treatment and course has not been completed yet. Diet should be a good diet rich in fruits vegetables and proteins. Frequent small meals are also sometimes recommended.

Take regularly the bronchodilator inhalers, a variety of them are available now. If still the oxygen level is less with optimum treatment then you may have to take supplemental oxygen therapy. But most important is to stop smoking, if you do so.

Yes in a recommended dose it is quite safe, when you compare risks & benefits. Some bookish side effects are possible although like possibility of hypertension, diabetes, weakening of bones, cataracts, thinning of skin etc are there.

My aunt who is 58 years old is suffering from pneumonia and has been hospitalised since last one week. She was initially in ICU but has beet shifted to regular room recently. My concern is that her white blood cells have lowered upto 75000 in a day and is fluctuating. Even after one week of hospitalization she is getting fever. Should we change the hospital? Or does it normally take so many days to recover from pneumonia?

The cells you have mentioned are not white blood cells but platelets (as the number you have written is too too high for WBC count). It is common to have fall in platelets during some infections specially after viral ones. But if the course of treatment is good and patient responds the platelets also recover back to normal. Pneumonia takes 1-2 weeks to recover, but at least fever should start responding by now. The reason for fever has to be looked into.

Take a healthy diet and take a complete course of treatment. Premature ejaculations as suggested by your history are mostly due to psychological reasons, so do not worry and think everything is normal and it will be fine.
