You have subclinical hypothyroidism. Its treatment is given in selected patients. If you have already started treatment, then I suggest two weeks is a short period to repeat the test because it takes at least 4-6 weeks for it to settle. Repeat it after 4 weeks and consult your doctor.

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

I am a bp patient what should be my diet?
Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

Hello Harish, Sever congestion in the chest due to cough is responsible for difficulty in breathing and pain in chest. You continue with Amoxycillin tablets and complete the course. Along with it, take regular steam inhalation. Atleast 3 to 4 times a day.

Dear , you had a bypass at an age of 34 which is very young. When you say your reports are normal if possible please share. Since when this problem has started. I feel there would be an issue with one of the graft when you start walking there is an ischemia which is gradually getting covered through a collateral as you proceed with the exercise. It could be a fairly dangerous and my opinion is that you please do not neglect the same. In investigations I would like to suggest a cardiac pet ct with a myocardial viability done along with if possible a nuclear medical stress test. Continue with your medications. For more information please write to me.

To control your diabetes the first thing is your willpower you have to fight against it and if you will be serious in it you will definitely win now what you have to do you have to take half tablespoon fenugreek seeds and put it in 75 ml water at night before sleeping now in morning after being fresh drink this water and chew down the fenugreek seeds empty stomach do this regularly for 3 months without fail, if you are not regular then you will not get any benefit for example you consume this for 60 days and then forget to take for 2 days then your improvement will come to zero. Avoid sugar in any form because sugar is polysaccharide and you must b aware polysaccharide sugar is harmful for health you have to eat monosaccharides sugar in the form of glucose sucrose and fructose and that is easily available in natural fresh juices nd fruits and desi jaggery desi mishri nd khand. Continue your habit of walking you should target at least 90 minutes walk everyday.
