What is the main reason s of adiabatic how can control this. Any tips control diabetic.
Mr Jiju, Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease. Occurs due to either deficiency of Insulin hormone secreted by Islets of Langerhans in Pancreas, or resistance to it's action or both. In T1 DM there is complete lack or absence of Insulin. This causes derangement in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism. Specifically seen by increased blood glucose levels. Later it affects every single system in the body causing serious damage. T2 DM even though familial, is still preventable disease, if one follows healthy life style like regular exercise, proper diet, and maintains normal weight.

Do let me know your hba1c value? also you need to provide me your daily food intake details. There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high fiber prescribed diet which includes soluble fibre like apple, isabgol etc. Get more physical activity. eat a balanced diet which includes whole grains and excludes all refined products like maida as prescribed. if you're overweight, diabetes prevention may hinge on weight loss. Every pound you lose can improve your health, and you may be surprised by how much. Participants in one large study who lost a modest amount of weight around 7 percent of initial body weight and exercised regularly reduced the risk of developing diabetes by almost 60 percent.

You could be having some sort of viral neuralgia like herpes zoster see if you have and any skin lesions like some eruptive vesicles sometimes patients get them later but usually they do not cross the mid line of back or on other side. For further assistance you may have to consult in person. Get your sugars and hba1c done to see the control some times simple pain killers and anti allergic drugs can be started initially.

The details given show that diabetes is not in good control. Ideally fasting should be about 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg, hba1c<6.8%. The present treatment needs to be upgraded with additional drugs or change of dosage etc. Plus there has to be a closer look at dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. Your bmi is 25.62 kgs /m2 (normal <23 kgs/m2). Hence, it will be good if you come in a private conversation where I can prescribe additional medications and advise dietary changes etc. Thanks.

It reflects sugar status of past 3 months. Which is borderline. To check current status, check fasting and postprandial sugar levels. And also check your blood pressure, cholesterol - lipid profile.

Following are the tips to control diabetes: 1-losing extra weight: helps lower your blood pressure and cholesterol too. Waist of more than 80 cm in women & 90 cm in man are at risk 2- constant and regular food timings: improves metabolic activity and helps reducing weight. 3- split meals and eat in moderate amount 4- no long gaps and skipping of meals:-never miss out breakfast. 5- no overeating:-never eat in a bulk on one time remember to eat food slowly & chew well. 6- proper exercise and work outs: regular brisk walking for 30 min. Five times a week is best. Cycling, swimming, dancing can also be done. Do not eat right away after a workout. 7-constant and regular timings for medication 8-avoid fried foods, meat, fats and sweets. 9- take high-fibre and complex carbohydrates:-like oats and include high-fiber carbohydrates like wheat bran, flaxseed and methi seeds to your wheat flour. Add whole grain foods in your diet. Avoid white bread, pasta, pizza, candies, and snacks. 10-drink enough fluids:-keep your body well hydrated. 11. Fresh vegetables and fruits. Include sprouts in the diet as they are easily digestible 12- avoid excess salt:-in form of pickles/papads/salads etc. 13-avoid alcohol consumption:-alcohols such as beer and wine contains large amount of calories. 14- dairy products:-dairy products are high on fat. So consume skimmed milk products, low fat cheese, yogurt (curd) etc. Try green tea instead.

Hi, I am a diabetic patient in its initial stage.
What should I do to prevent it from getting it severe?
Firstly you take your food with 2 to 3 hr intervals, devided into 3 main meals and 3 small meals. Main meals should consist of 1/4 portion of protein and 1/4 portion of carbohydrates and 2 portion of vegetables more or less at the same time of the day to make your biological clock perfect. Avoid high calorie food such as fried things, mango, banana, sapota, juices, sweets. Secondly do regular exercise, yoga or walk. Thirdly always take your medicine in time as advised by your doctor. Keep your self hydrated and take enough sleep.

I have sore throat from last 6 months, taking tab cefuroxime 500 mg bd last 7 days, but still no relief, daily mouth care done. Last 2 days I am having dysphagia what I do now?

I have sore throat from last 6 months, taking tab cefuroxime 500 mg bd last 7 days, but still no relief, daily mouth ...
Medicine taking is not the solution dear, you must be taking proper medicines under guidance but if you are getting infections frequently than first thing you should get thyroid testing done, and than you may need to hydrate up your body because any symptoms of throat comes with symptoms of nose also dear the symptoms you are getting are due to dryness of the mouth, this is because of lack of mucus in the mouth which is protective layer of our mouth, and is being produced in the mouth by glands which will be helped by good and healthy blood supply to the glands, blood with good blood cells will take oxygen to the gland and gland works, they require oxygen in ample of amount, so if you do not take iron diet on daily basis than this will lead to less of mucus production and hence lead to dryness and thick mucus problem, this thick mucus leads to irritation in mouth hence leads to itching in the mouth, start taking good iron diet on daily basis, and shakes, avoid salty and spicy food.

Hii. I have sugar from last year so what will be it effect on my body or health?
Mr Aksh, If you have diabetes mellitus and if it is not in control then there can be serious effects on almost every system of the body. For example : Eyes are affected very badly, can cause retinopathy, increase cataract, lead to glaucoma etc. Affects microvasculature (small vessels) and macrovasuculature (large vessels), these effects lead to problems with eyes, kidneys, heart, nervous system and lower limbs. So controlling sugar and bringing nearer normal is absolutely essential. So if any one has diabetes then it should be immediately treated and brought under control.
