Hai sir/madam my wife is 4 months pregnant now can we participate in sex? Is it safe or not please advise me.

Hai sir/madam my wife is 4 months pregnant now can we participate in sex? Is it safe or not please advise me.
Your developing baby is protected by the amniotic fluid in your uterus, as well as the strong muscles of the uterus itself. Sexual activity won't affect your baby. So it is completely safe to sex during pregnancy. But during first trimester sometimes there is risk of miscarriage because of intercourse and excessive body movement so try to avoid sex during first trimester.

Hello Doc! So there are a lot of problems that I am facing at the moment. I’ll move ahead step by step. 1.Delayed period- I am 8 days late on my period, though I am not sexually active. 2.On and off anxiety and pain in different parts of body, eg: wrist, thighs knees and sometimes swelling in hands & feet. 3.Puffiness under eyes & face. 4.I feel tired and lethargic many times even if I have taken proper rest. My Background: I have a desk job, I do not exercise regularly. 10-15 minutes of walk is all that I do. I have normal diet, but I eat out 2-3 days every week. I sleep late at night & sometimes I have to force myself to sleep at night. I have been suggested that I may have high thyroid, for which I got my complete blood and urine test done. I am attaching my reports. Please take a look & suggest what is causing all this? Is it anything serious? Do I need to take medications or just a healthy life style could mend it. Please give me a detailed answer. Thyroid report: TT3: 1.53 TT4: 7.94 TSH: 18.65 Lipid Profile: Non HDL Cholesterol 145.3 Cholesterol/HDL Ratio 7.6 0.0 - 4.0 Calculated LDL / HDL Cholesterol Ratio 5.2 Cholesterol/HDL Ratio 7.6 0.0 - 4.0 Calculated LDL / HDL Cholesterol Ratio 5.2 Cholesterol - Total 167.2.

Sugary drinks versus sugary sweets (mithai)

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Sugary drinks versus sugary sweets (mithai)
When we talk about health, everybody talks against soft drinks. They say that one should not substitute water with soft drinks. One should take not more than one soft drink a day.

From medical point of view, soft drinks mean any drink, which contains more than 10% sugar. Oral rehydration solution that is medically recommended for dehydration and marketed as a replacement solution is not a sugary drink as it contains not more than 2–3% sugar. A 200 ml bottle of soft drink, on an average, contains 20 gm of sugar, which amounts to 10%.

Most mithais or the so-called Indian sweets contain more than 10% sugar; an average person consumes 100 gm of sweets per meal.

The traditional halwas such as moong ki daal ka halwa or gajar ka halwa or suji halwa contain 30% sugar. Suji Halwa is made of one cup of ghee, one cup of suji and two cups of sweet syrup and four cups of water. Kalakand is the least sweetened Indian sweet as it contains only 300 gm of sugar in 10kg of milk. Indian traditional Burfi is 3 kg sugar in 10 kg of khoya. Kaaju burfi is 50% sugar, gulab jamun is 40% sugar, rasgulla syrup contains 50% sugar (made of only cow milk and sugar).

The sugar syrup, or chashni as it is called, is 50% sugar. Most soft drinks have 10% sugar.

Most Indian sweets are prepared either in sugar syrup or vanaspati ghee (hydrogenated oils). A sweet cannot be made in artificial sweeteners as artificial sweetener cannot be converted into a sugar syrup or chashni. The sweets prepared in vanaspati ghee are gulab jamun, laddoo, patisa, balushahi, sohan halwa. Sohn halwa contains the maximum hydrogenated oil. Balushahi also contains 60% ghee.

The sweets that are prepared without any ghee are those prepared with sugar syrup; they are rasgulla, ras malai, chum chum etc.

Most salty snacks are made in soyabean oil which is the cheapest oil. Other oils, which can be used are sunflower oil, cottonseed oil. Samosa, kachori are made of maida but they are not cooked in transfat or hydrogenated oils but in soyabean oil.

The hydrogenated oils or vanaspati ghee is only present in items like laddoo, balushahi, besan ka laddoo, patisa etc.

Me nd my gf are both 21 years old and are planning to have sex for first time. What precautions should be taken by both of us?

MBBS

You should use condom. You should do foreplay of 15 to 20 minutes before going for sex. This will excite both of you sexually and make sex more enjoyable.

I am unmarried and I have cut in nipple in future can I feed a baby. please advice.
It is best to withhold temporarily from the affected breast as it will be painful . Express the milk though to prevent congestion. You can use a nipple shield and apply lanolin based ointment like boroline to allow it to heal

MIRACLES OF HOMOEOPATHY AND PSORIASIS

Psoriasis is a condition capable of affecting one’s career, relationships and confidence. Patients have been treated for years with conventional medicine resulting in only reoccurring of the symptoms. Psoriasis is a chronic condition which needs to be treated holistically and internally. Homeopathy have shown significant success with Psoriasis patients. Homeopathy can treat Psoriasis after understanding the exact cause of the disease well. If any close relatives suffer from any autoimmune disease, it might have been passed on via the genes. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease where the defense cells of the body start attacking their own skin cells which then respond to it by starting to multiply abnormally leading to thickened skin and shedding of scales. This causes raw, red, peeling areas on the skin. Most treatments like topical ointments, oral administration, phototherapy are available but work at a superficial level on the skin, to reduce redness and itching by suppressing your immunity. All these treatments have side-effects such as headache, nausea, ulcerations and can even lead to skin cancer.
Psoriasis patients experienced significant improvement in their quality of life and reduction in their psoriasis symptoms with Homeopathy without any kind of side-effects. In Psoriasis, our immunity needs to be strengthened from within. Homeopathy treats the individual as a whole and not only the symptoms. The environment, the person’s temperament and the presenting symptoms are all considered before prescribing the ‘remedy’ to the patient. Thus, no two people with psoriasis might have the exact same remedy. As Homeopathy works on the principle ‘Like treats like’.

Dr. Ruchita Chandra a trained renowned homeopath who is well known for treating those cases which have been incurable, and has successfully treated several patients of Psoriasis.

No need to worry it is fine, as small amount of semen contains millions of sperm in it, so even if most of it drains out of vagina it is fine. Secondly as advised by doctor start doing regular exercise for weight loss and take dietary measures as well.

If this is your first Semen analysis report then continue the meds prescribed by your doctor. The report does show a significantly low sperm motility but that could be because of inter current illness in the past 3 months prior to the test. Lead a active life with exercise, healthy nutritious balanced diet, quit smoking if do and repeat the semen test in 3 months. If your semen report repeatedly shows low motility then you need a clinical evaluation by a urologist and may need ART for pregnancy.
