About Candida Albicans Total Antibody Test

Candida is a synonymous for Yeast. It is quite a common fungus found in small proportions inside the human body. The immune system in a particular person’s body nullifies the effect of yeast. However, when a person is under medications or antibiotics or is sick and weak, the spread of this fungus begins. This invites a number of fungal infections. The Candida IgA, IgM and IgG antibody test is the test that detects the presence of the above mentioned antibodies in the body. The changes in the level of the antibody IgA is that they grow within the short period post the infection. Their population goes a significant decline while the fungus spreads. Not all human bodies have the same response during an infection. In fact, not all human bodies show the presence of the IgA antibody. A compromised immune system cannot effectively detect the presence of IgA.
