Hello lybrate-user before going to treatment details first find the cause and try to avoid it. Weight reduction is a slow procedure. If you have lower abdomen try doing cross trainer, leg lifts to tighten the muscles. Focus on eating nuts, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, ginger, turmeric, carrit and oranges. Plan atleast 5-6 meals in a day. Drink ample amount of water. Aim atleast 3 lit per day.

Consume milk with honey after doing the exercise that will be beneficial and energetic there is no particular brand is recommended and regarding protein side effect there is no specific side effect if drink in moderate quantity.

Hi lybrate user 1. It is good that you are trying to lose weight. It needs more effort. 2. Your bmi is 37.7 which is very high. Obese cl 2.3. Your weight should be around 70.4. Walking for 30 mins is not good enough. You need to start jogging slowly and increase time to 60 mins daily. 5. Your health is your priority now. Take it as emergency today. 6. Get your lipid/ sugar / liver / thyroid profiles tested to rule out any other ailments. 7. Have 2 apples, 1 banana, 2 cucumbers, 2 mausambis everyday in your diet - compulsory. All this should be before meals not after meals. 8. Download 1800 calories indian diet from the net and stick to it. 9. Get away from all social parties and relative parties and office parties. 10. Eat less, drink more water. No colas, no fruit juices follow this for one month and definitely your weight will reduce by 2-3 kgs. After that you can report progress through private questions. All the best. Never give up. Your solution lies within you. Find it.

Dear user, to control diabetes just modify your normal diet interms of simple sugar n fatty foods. Eat at regular intervals avoid refined foods like maida root veggies like arbi, aloo to b taken in moderation skimmed milk n products to b used avoid junk food, fried foods avoid colas n fruit juices exercise daily.

Fibroids can be treated with surgery or embolization. Medicines can be given to control symptoms like bleeding. They do not remove fibroids. The actual treatment offered will depend on the size and site and actual symptoms.

Normal level-3-10ng/ml or 300 to 1000h ng/dl 1. Go for regular exercise like brisk walking for 30 minutes daily, 2. Reduce weight if you are over weight 3. Take adequate rest and have 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night 4. Avoid stress 5. Avoid dietary sugar like bread, pasta, use healthy fats like olive oil 6. Take zinc containing food like milk, meat, fish, cheese, beans, yogurt etc 7. Take vitamin d supplement (1000-2000 mg daily). 8. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables, cauliflower, spinach, bean, mushroom, onion, garlic, fruits, diet rich in mono unsaturated fat& eomega 3 fatty acid (walnut, almond, flax seed/flax seed oil, soybean/soy milk/ oil), egg, fish, fish oil, sardines, salmon, dark chocolate, carrots, oats, blue berries/ banana/pomegranate/cereals, 9. Drink plenty of water, pomegranate juice, green tea 2-3 cups /day without sugar/ milk (green tea contains anti oxidant like flavonoid and helps in improving sperm quality, but in high doses may affect sperm quality) 10. If you want to gain weight, then I would recommend you a easy diet plan, Do some exercise also, it will help you to gain weight. No needs to take any supplement. Diet Plan: 1. Dear Saurav, For all those who want to put on weight are suggested to keep distance from junk foods which are not healthy for the body, since they are surely going add weight to the body but at the same time they also are said to add bad fat to the body. Go only with the foods which are said to increase nutrient intake for the body and provide with sufficient energy, some of these foods have been listed below for simplicity: Salmon Tuna Paneer Soya beans Soya paneer-tofu Eggs Shrimps Granola bars Cheese Paneer Yoghurt Walnuts Dates Apricots Anjeer Raisins Nuts and oil seeds Peanut butter Chicken breast Gaining weight is not an excuse to get fat and schedule daily visits to all-you-can buffets. I suggest you begin implementing one principle each week and watch your body stack on more muscle to your frame each week.

I am 61 years old. I am a type 2 diabetes, hypothyroid patient; having cervical spondilitis, enlarged liver and prostate gland. Now, I am taking eltroxin 100 for thyroid and sidda - ayurvedic medicines for diabetes. I am practising yoga, pranayama and meditation regularly. Whenever I get time I go for 30 mts of walk. Nowadays, I used to get numbness in the hands and legs. What is the reason. What is the remedy ?

For cervical spondylitis you need good physiotherapy. If your hba1c /average blood sugar is less than 7 than it can b said that your diabetes is controlled, otherwise from your multiple symptoms//diseases it is less likely, for numbness can b long term complication of diabetes./for which you need. Tab nervup pg 1 daily at night. For long period.

Lukewarm milk is good. Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Alcohol consumption. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Do not sleep immediately after taking meal.

Hye, thanks for the query. For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - the sugar levels will fluctuate depending on what you ate or did not eat, stress levels and activity levels. You have to try and manage a balanced carb intake. Have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. You have to eat 3 main and 3 mid meals. Your diet must include whole grains, seasonal fruits, vegetables, small amounts of nuts and dairy and pulses or dals or lean meats like chicken or fish and egg. Starchy vegetables need to be planned into the diet. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Avoid exercise if sugar levels are above 250 mg/dl. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

My father is 63 years old. He is a diabetic since last 20 years. Currently he is taking Starvog 0.2 Mg (thrice in a day with meal), Glycomet 500 mg (thrice in a day with meal) and absolute DM capsule at night. But his diabetes is fasting 245 and PP 280. Should we change medicine or should we start insulin. We can not afford more than 1000- 1200 Rs per month medicine. So please help over here.

Dear, if your father is willing to take some ayurvedic herbal medicines, he may start this home remedy, along with your current medicines: gurmar churna 50 gms + jamun guthli churna 50 gms + amla churna 50 gms+ neem leaves churna 25 gms + bel churna 25gms. Mix all thoroughly and ask him to take one teaspoon two times a day before meals. He has to follow strict diet along with relaxed mind. May start doing some meditation. Ask him to take frequent but small meals repeatedly every 2 - 2.5 hrly. This will surely help him. Live healthy think healthy

Hi lybrate-user, according to your height you are overweight. You weight should be between 55-58 kg. Try to loose your weight naturally you have to do some dietary changes and physical activity. Take small & frequent meal (2 major meal and 3-4 small meal). Avoid taking heavy dinner. Cut or stop simple sugar and simple carbs, preserved, tinned and canned products from diet. Avoid outside food. Try to take 4-5 meals of green leafy vegetables & fruits. Take sufficient water (10-12 glasses in a day). Start work out approx for 30-40 minutes daily like brisk walk, running, jogging, skipping, swimming whatever you like. You can also consult with a dietician for proper diet chart.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism. Many a times weight gain takes time. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat about 6 calorie dense meals a day. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Only if you break down can you grow or develop or rebuild. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal first before starting any supplement.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.
