Hello sir/madam I am 25years old I had a doubt! One week ago I had protected sex, after attaining orgasm I removed my male part from her female part, but mine is not attached with condom. Even though the entire semen is stagnant in condom I still afraid is there any chance of getting pregnant? Because while removing condom from her part I see the outside layer with white greasy substance in outside of condom. Was that my semen or condom lubricant? Or any other? I'm afraid because this was my first experience for both of us. Please help me to resolve this issue. Thank you.

PhD Human Genetics
Sexologist,
Well, the correct use of condom includes withdrawing the penis while it is still hard (after ejaculation), and in doing so you should hold the rim of the condom with fingers and pull out the penis along with condom. You seemed to have stayed inside her till the erection is partially lost, and hence the problem. The chances of pregnancy depends on whether some semen seeped into her vagina, and on the day of her menstrual cycle on which sex took place. Since 1 week elapsed since the intercourse, you can only wait and see.

Tips To Maintain A Healthy Lifestyle

Tips to maintain a healthy lifestyle

  • Follow a healthy eating plan. Make healthy food choices, keep your calorie needs and your family's calorie needs in mind, and focus on the balance of energy IN and energy OUT.
  • Focus on portion size. Watch the portion sizes in fast food and other restaurants. The portions often served are enough for two or three people. Children's portion sizes should be smaller than those for adults. Cutting back on portion size will help you balance energy IN and energy OUT.
  • Be active. Make personal and family time active. Find activities that everyone will enjoy. For example, go for a brisk walk, bike or rollerblade, or train together for a walk or run.
  • Reduce screen time. Limit the use of TVs, computers, DVDs, and video games because they limit the time for physical activity. Health experts recommend 2 hours or less a day of screen time that does not work- or homework-related.
  • Keep track of your weight, body mass index, and waist circumference. Also, keep track of your children's growth.
  • Ensure that your abdominal circumference is lower than 80 cm/90cm (women and men)
  • Keep fasting sugar lower than 80 mg% and blood pressure lower than 80 mm Hg.
  • Keep heart rate lower than 80 per minute and bad LDL cholesterol lower than 80 mg%.
  • Do not consume more than 80 grams of caloric solid or liquid food at once.
  • Observe carbohydrate fast 80 days a year.
  • Consume at least 80 fruits and vegetables servings in a week.

Sir/ madam I want to know whether inserting penis with condom in vagina in4 months of pregnancy is safe. Can we have sex please suggest me.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
Yes, you can have sex during pregnancy. Provided you have some precautions. Avoid sex in the last month of pregnancy. Let the pregnant lady have the last say in the matter. Respect her wish. If she refuses, do not fight. Think of other ways to have sexual pleasure, like masturbation, oral sex (women does to man) etc. Anal sex is not to be done in pregnancy as piles are common and liable to bleed. Use a condom at each sex, to prevent the infection from affecting the pregnant woman whose immunity is reduced during pregnancy. Avoid missionary position as it causes pressure on the pregnant tummy. Use side by side position or woman on top position or woman at edge of bed and man standing position to have sex. If your partner is feeling anxious about disturbing the pregnancy, you both can talk and settle for non vaginal sex like orla sex and masturbation etc.

All About Fenugreek Seeds

How fenugreek works?

Fenugreek seeds are rich in soluble fibre, which may help to lower the blood glucose level through delayed gastric emptying and slowed carbohydrate absorption. The amino acid contained in the seeds may also directly stimulate insulin secretion and reduce insulin resistance. Fenugreek may also increase the number of insulin receptors in red blood cells and improve glucose utilization in peripheral tissues.

How to use?

Take a teaspoonful of fenugreek seeds and soak in water the overnight. Eat these soaked in the morning. These seeds can taste bitter but over time you can adjust to them. Drink all the water and chew up the soaked seeds. You may need more water to push them down.

The bitter taste of fenugreek seeds can be minimized by toasting them, adding honey or buying de-bitterized seeds. Powdered seeds can also be useful.

The usual dose of fenugreek seeds is 5 to 30 grams with each meal or 15 to 90 grams all at once with one meal.

What are the effects of fenugreek seeds on diabetes?

In type ii diabetes, adding fenugreek seeds to a meal decreases the increase in blood glucose after the meal. Fenugreek seeds show improved blood glucose control and insulin function. It reduces the fasting blood glucose in both type I and ii diabetes.

Dyslipideamia and heart disease are common in diabetics. Fenugreek seeds promote heart health and help in lowering blood cholesterol levels.

What are the side effects of fenugreek seeds?

Fenugreek seeds are completely safe when used in moderation. Nausea, abdominal discomforts like diarrhea and/or gas are few minor side effects which usually subside after a few days of use. When used topically on skin watch for skin irritation and rashes. These seeds are not recommended in pregnancy, as it causes uterine contraction.

Is performing cunnilingus (eating vagina) is hygienic and healthy? Is it ok to perform cunnilingus with my partner?

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- Vagina harbors numerous harmful bacteria such as HPV (Human Papilomma Virus), it is responsible for uterine cancer in most females. Some incidence of throat cancer has also been reported in which this virus OPV (Oral Pappiloma Virus) cased throat cancer in males, the main reason found behind this was cunnilingus (eating vagina). So if you value your life thn I recommend you not to involve in such practices.
