Do 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity every week. One way to achieve this target is by doing 30 minutes of activity on five days a week.(walking,cycling,swimming,skipping)

Eat more fish
Fish is a good source of protein and contains many vitamins and minerals.

Aim to eat at least two portions of fish a week, including at least one portion of oily fish.

Oily fish contains omega-3 fats, which may help to prevent heart disease.
You can choose from fresh, frozen and canned: but remember that canned and smoked fish can be high in salt.

Oily fish include salmon, mackerel, trout, herring, fresh tuna, sardines and pilchards.

Non-oily fish include haddock, plaice, coley, cod, tinned tuna, skate and hake.
If you regularly eat a lot of fish, try to choose as wide a variety as possible.

Smoking is one of the main causes of coronary heart disease.

A year after giving up, your risk of a heart attack falls to about half that of a smoker.

Hi! excercise makes your cells active and your cells become more sensitive to insulin so it can work more efficiently. Diet helps in controlling your blood glucose level which is essential to preventing long-term complications - cardia, kidney, nerve related illness. Excessive fatty cells in the body will cause insulin resisitance and hence diet and excercise are important for you.

Hi There is developmental delay in all spheres (motor, adaptive and social) in children with Down’s syndrome and most common genetic cause of learning disability & mental retardation. As there is no curative therapy, counseling has a central role to play in the management. Having Down's syndrome child can be challenging at times. But with help professional support, most people are able to have healthy, active and more independent lives. There are many children who have done wonders and hence take it as chanllenge and support your kid to develop and learn.
