Hi 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help

How many times urinating in a day is normal? I can control my urine for an hour or so but it is bit painful. But I go around 3-4 times a day? Is it normal?

It depends on how much water you consume per day. Your atmosphere if you have hot around you will lose more water in perspiration. Anxiety may cause increased urination. Many people passes urine 2-3 times per day and many 15-20 times per day both are normal. Untill you have pain and any other discomfort it is normal. If then also you feel to check it out go for usg abdoman and pelvis. It will give you proper diagnosis.

Hye. Firstly green tea does not aid fat loss. It can support a little in terms of metabolism and provide antioxidants. Also, the efficiency of the polyphenol or the antioxidant properties will alter on storage depending on the type of tea used. Most often the green tea available to us does interact with the oxygen etc and is best had fresh. If you are looking for health benefits, you can surely remove 1 minute from your schedule to dip a tea bag into hot water.

Hello. Firstly migraine doesn't hv any exact treatment. You should go for. *Regular exercises. *Meditation. *Proper diet. *Avoid stress. Hi, pimples have many causes. We need to study the types, size, exact location over face, frequency about the pimples and detailed history about you and your current lifestyle. Also need to confirm if you get pimples now also or are struggling for the marks which the previous ones have left behind. This can be done over a consultation. Exercise and sports stimulate the release of growth hormone that contributes to your height. To enjoy good height, you must exercise regularly and take part in sports activities. One good exercise to increase height is skipping where you need to jump a lot. Do skipping for at least 30 minutes each day in an open area. Holding on to a horizontal bar and hanging with your spine stretched out is another effective exercise to facilitate height gain. Stay in the position for 10 seconds and repeat at least six times daily. Plus, play games like tennis and basketball that require you to jump a lot. This will help increase your height and also help in maintaining ideal body weight. Also indulge in outdoor activities, like cycling and swimming, on a regular basis to enjoy good height and a toned body.

In continuation to my previous message- 12 years old daughter's period don't stop. She had her second period around 10 days back and it is still going on. First period also went on for long time. Both time we had to give medicine to stop bleeding. Should we show her to a doctor or is it normal to have such problems when girls have period for first time. Thanks.

Some girls do have such problems but it is always to treat it in time... Better take homoeopathic treatment... As in allopathy they give hormonal supplements which is very harmful... You may consult through lybrate... Still if you want to try you may give her Pulsatilla 200 one dose only.

The most common form of arthritis is osteoarthritis and unlike rheumatoid arthritis, the cause of osteoarthritis is not due to any inflammation such as the immune system attacking the joints. Rather, the cause of osteoarthritis can be attributed to the wear and tear of the protective cartilage on your bones over time. The most common parts of your body which may get affected by osteoarthritis are the knees, hands, and spine. Even though osteoarthritis cannot be cured, it is worth noting that the symptoms can be well managed.

Here is everything you need to know about osteoarthritis:

Symptoms:

  1. Intense pain in your joint: This is the most common symptom indicating that you may have osteoarthritis.
  2. Tenderness in your joint: If after applying a little pressure, your joint feels tender, then it can be considered a sign of osteoarthritis.
  3. Stiffness in your joint and loss of flexibility: If you feel stiff after a period of inactivity such as waking up in the morning, it's likely you have osteoarthritis. This may also mean that you may not be able to make movements you were previously able to due to the stiffness in your joint.
  4. Bone spurs: You may also feel extraneous bits of bone from around the affected joint.

Causes:

The most common cause of osteoarthritis is old age. As you grow older, the cartilage that cushions your bones begins to deteriorate. Without this cartilage to cushion your bones, different bones might rub against one another, thus causing the pain you feel.

Treatment: 

As mentioned earlier, it is not possible to cure osteoarthritis, but the pain can only be managed. Here are the best ways to manage pain from arthritis.

  1. Medications: Depending on how severe your pain is and whether it is chronic or acute, you may be given drugs such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
  2. Physical therapy: An exercise routine can be worked out between you and your physical therapist so that your pain reduces and you are able to regain the range of movements you had before you were affected by osteoarthritis.
  3. Surgery: There are a number of surgeries which can be done to reduce your pain; ranging from a simple lubrication surgery by using hyaluronic acid all the way to a complete joint replacement.

Check lipid profile and there are good cholesterol and bad cholesterol. HDL is good. Cholesterol and LDL is bad cholesterol. If LDL if abnormal or high start low fat low sugar diet and regular walk. To increase Good cholesterol that is HDL do regular exercise and take omega 3.

Purgate mildly every week. Use tarunikumakar chooran or triphala strain. Use fresh pulp of aloevera over face washed with normal water. Keep overnight. Wash in the morning. Do for a week. After that some pinches of herbs will be mixed in aloevera and applied as before. Do for two weeks.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.
