Hi I am 18 years old. I am facing a problem that my hair is becoming white what should I do?
Hello. We can't make the grey hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature greying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Lycopodium 200/ once daily and Acid Phos. 200/ once daily- both for 1 months. And a multivitamin - A to Z/ 1 cap. daily once for 1 month (as deficiency of zinc, copper and selenium can also cause premature greying). Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Revert me back.

Take over the counter available painkillers like paracetamol or Ibuprofen. If you have repeated or persistent episodes of headache, consult again. Follow these lifestyle changes to avoid headache 1. Maintain regular sleep wake cycle, even on holiday's. 2. Don't skip meals. Take regular healthy diet with adequate fluids 3. Do not consume excess caffeine / carbohydrates / alcohol or smoke. 4. Exercise daily ( aerobics and cardiovascular) 5. Identify your headache trigger and try to avoid it.

Stop Smoking

M.Ch, MBBS

Smoking is bad for the spine.

You already knew that smoking is bad for your lungs and other organs, and that it puts you at greater risk for multiple kinds of cancer – now here’s another reason to steer clear of that increasingly unpopular habit.
Not only does smoking reduce bone strength and blood flow that your spine needs to stay strong, but it also delays the healing process when you’ve been injured and reduces your likelihood of leading the physically active lifestyle that keeps backaches at bay.

Hello. Firstly get your eyesight checked up as soon as possible…it is strongly advisable that you keep yourself away from laptops, televisions until you get cured. Make sure you have your head in the south or east direction while sleeping… The most effective remedy for these kind of problems is" cow ghee" take 1 spoon of cow ghee and warm it, With the help of a dropper, Pour one drop of cow ghee in each of your nostril. It may sound weird or a hectic job at first but trust me it is the most effective remedy. It Makes your head nerves lighter and healthier that too without any side effects. Furthermore it is advisable that you keep yourself stress free by practicing breathing exercise (pranayam) everyday. Oil your scalp regularly with mustard oil. Lastly take at least 8 hours of sleep, no matter how hectic the schedule maybe. Thanks.

Trichologist
Dermatologist, Mumbai
I am loosing hair I have use many shampoo's and oils even though I am loosing my hair so what is the best remedy.
Hair fall has various reasons. It is sometimes confused with thinning of hair. Nutritional deficiency, stress, thyroid problem are few causes. What ever the reason is, it is very important to eat food which is rich in minerals, protein and iron. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Oil the scalp with jaborandi hair oil and wash it with mild scalp cleanser. Thinning needs scalp check. Consult trichologist.

This is common and even happened to me during my college days but I could remember many answers and could do well. Keep the hard work and keep faith that you would not forget when asked. Also take a cup of hot milk of cow's about three hours before dinner.
