I have black spots as well as pimples in my mouth. I used scar removal cream for 4 months but did not see any changes...
Start with a three day fast in which you will take only fruit juice 4-5 time every day. Take an enema every day. If you cannot, then drink one cup of spinach juice every day. Steam bath your face. For doing this take a vessel of 2 kg capacity fill half and put on boiling. Take a blanket or at least four folded heavy cloth. Put the boiling water vessel on a table. Cover the vessel with a little over sized lid. Sit on a chair in front of it. Cover your head, shoulders and the steam vessel by the blanket. Now open the lid a little at a time. Let the steam flow to your face. Keep on opening the vessel a little more very slowly. The steam will cause your face to start sweating heavily. Continue till the steam is fully exhausted. Wash your face with cold water. The steam bath has to continued for one week. Then repeat every three days. This will take care of pimples. Please remember the spots once formed can not be removed. For furture eat more salads and fruits. Do not eat fried foods, sugary and spicy foods etc. Do some exercise to bring some sweat on the body.

Hi lybrate-user. Anything which is pigmented and elevated could be skin tags, dpns or moles as you mentioned it needs clinical examination to confirm and to proceed for treatments. However for moles we do simple procedures like electrocautery, lasers and even surgical excisions. Start using sunscreens regularly it protects to certain extent.

Depends on your skin type. Dry, oily, normal or combination. Use face wash according to your skin type. There are 3 basic steps for good healthy skin that are cleaning, toning and moisturising. Use good brand. Dont use soap on face. you can consult me through Lybrate for further guidance about your skin type and care.

Take Homoeopathic treatment properly.. It can not be solved by any cream so don't waste money after costly creams and face washes.. Take proper internal Homoeopathic treatment..

My skin is oily and I am suffering from acne from last 2 years. please suggest any facewash and anti acne skin cream which will be ayurvedic or homemade. Thanks in advance.

My skin is oily and I am suffering from acne from last 2 years. please suggest any facewash and anti acne skin cream ...
Acne occurs when the pores on your skin become blocked with oil, dead skin, or bacteria. Each pore on your skin is the opening to a follicle. The follicle is made up of a hair and a sebaceous (oil) gland. The oil gland releases sebum (oil), which travels up the hair, out of the pore, and onto y skin. Drink water 10 glass / day wash your face 3 times / day avoid oily food eat one orange daily do not squeeze pimples, because that often leads to infections, worse acne and scars. Wash your hair often if your hair is oily. Try to keep your hair off of your face. Avoid hair care products such as gels, mousses, cream rinses, and pomades that contain a lot of oil. Use baksons sunny face wash. Avoid touching your face. Protect your skin from too much sun exposure. After 10 days revert me for complete cure.

Dried orange peels + yogurt. You can dry the orange peels by placing them under the hot sun until the peels turn dry and crisp. Tomato + yogurt + oatmeal. This is a potent yet gentle remedy that suits all skin types. Milk + lemon juice + honey. Yogurt..Lemon. Tomato juice.

Treating Fungal Infections In The Rainy Season

MD - Dermatology, MBBS

Treating Fungal Infections In The Rainy Season

The air is saturated with moisture during the rainy season. This makes the weather humid and everything else damp. This makes it an ideal breeding season for bacteria, viruses and fungi. Common problems of the season like water logging even deteriorate this situation further. Skin-related problems are on the rise during the monsoons, especially due to fungal infections.

Here is a list of a few fungal infections and how you should deal with them:

  1. Athlete's foot: This disease occurs if the feet are exposed to dirty water for a long time. The skin turns greenish with pus-filled scaly and itchy patches. You can treat this by using absorbent anti-bacterial and anti-fungal powder. Soaking your feet in vinegar or bleach solutions can be helpful for getting relief from Athlete's foot. It is also best to keep your feet dry all the time and carry a separate pair of shoes.
  2. Ringworm: Ringworm infection occurs in the shape of a ring on your neck, on the soles of your feet, in the armpits etc. It can be treated with anti-fungal powder or cream. Also, avoid scratching the infected area or wearing clothes made of synthetic material.
  3. Tinea capitis: This is a fungal infection on the scalp or in a beard (also called ringworm of scalp). It can be treated using anti-fungal shampoo containing ingredients like salicylic acid which exfoliates the skin and scrubs the infected cells off the scalp.
  4. Nail infection: Dirt and mud that accumulate under the nails lead to fungal infection in both the fingers and toes. Due to the humid weather during the monsoons, accumulation of sweat under the nails is also responsible for such infections. The preventive measure is to keep short nails and remove dirt from under the nails. Anti-fungal powder is a remedy for this too.
  5. Eczema: This is a chronic skin condition where itching and bleeding blisters and patches appear on the skin. The disease is often aggravated during the monsoons due to the damp weather. This can be treated by applying salt and magnesium on the affected areas of the skin. Coconut oil helps to provide relief from the itching and burning sensations. A great way to keep your skin safe from these infections is to use only soft cotton clothes during the monsoon season. Materials like silk, satin, polyester etc. irritate the skin and do not allow the pores to breathe, so they should be avoided.
