Hello yes, you can take it twice in a day starting 3 days before your due date till you want to postpone the period.

You need to consult the doctor who prescribed this medication and with his help, you may be able to gradually withdraw the medication. You should also meet with a counselor and discuss your sleep problem and find some natural alternatives. Some are suggested below: In your case particularly, do not sleep during the day; don’t even lie down. Go for regular exercise (breathing through your nostrils only) at a fixed time (at about 6 am) every day, whether you sleep or not. You must develop this habit of sleeping by 10 pm latest every night and wake up at a uniform time by 6 am every morning, even if you do not get sleep. If you do not get sleep, just lie down and if you have a bed lamp (or you could get one) lie down and read something light but not exciting. Your eyes will tire and you will fall asleep. If you like you may also put on light and soft music with the sleep function on. Depending on whether you are a visual or auditory person, you may watch TV in a lying down position until you feel sleepy. Have a warm bath before going to bed (for some people a cold bath at night seems to induce sleep! If you are one of them, please do so). Place the head side of your bed in a North-South position. The room must be as dark as possible and there should be no electronic items that give off even a light LED glow. There must be ample ventilation in the room. Avoid strong odors, except lavender, on your body or in the room, or on your sheets and clothes. There should not be any live plants in your bedroom. Sleep with the lightest of clothes or without any clothing. When lying down to sleep, lie down on your left ear as much as possible. Do not sleep directly under an overhead fan. You must eat a good breakfast, a fairly light lunch, and an early dinner, which should be a very light meal. Whatever you eat in the other meals, have only a pure carbohydrate meal at night with any vegetables, and preferably before 8 pm. Do not drink much liquids after or near about dinner time. When lying down to sleep you may use the 4-7-8 breathing pattern of sleep inducement i.e. Breathe in for four counts through your nostril only, hold for 7 counts, and exhale with a whoosh sound, through your mouth only, for 8 counts. Repeat this four times in the morning and just before you sleep at night. If you know Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT (check this out either on YouTube or Google), then please practice this too for sleep induction. Self-hypnosis and slow relaxation techniques, at night will be tremendously useful. Acupuncture or acupressure will both be very useful too. Pray last thing at night before you sleep.

Hi, thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation you need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Yes, when you are on Sysron, you will never get periods. You have to take the ful course of tablets, as prescribed by your gynecologist and then can expect period after stopping it (usually within 4-5 days after stoppage of the drug)

Hello Lybrate user, Please contact a professional, (such as a doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist, counselor, social worker, etc.) if you have been feeling depressed for 2 or more weeks. Therapy/counseling with a psychologist can be very helpful for people suffering from depression. The length (number of weeks) of therapy however, depends on the individuals needs and/or the type insurance coverage a person may or may not have. Medication is also available for people who are" clinically" depressed and can be taken with or without therapy/counseling. Medication indicated for the treatment of depression must be prescribed by psychiatrist. And start following some exercise: 1. Meet with a friend for a walk Socializing can be exhausting even when we’re not depressed. But contact with a friend can be a great source of emotional support and compassion. Meeting a friend for a walk – with or without a dog – can be a great way of combining casual social interaction with moderate physical activity. If your friend doesn’t know you’re depressed, that’s OK. You’re not obligated to tell them. If they do, that’s OK too. Plus, being out walking can take the edge off any feelings of awkwardness or nervous anxiety, whether talking about depression or any other subject. You’re not exclusively focused on the conversation and person you’re with. Quick tip: If in the past you’ve tended to make plans, then felt too depressed to go ahead with them, see if your friend can come to your place to meet you. Unless you’re having a particularly bad day, knowing your friend is outside – and a polite but persistent knock on the door – may give you the extra kick to get you out and about. 2. Do some gardening or cleaning. Interestingly, the longitudinal review of over 26 years of research specifically included gardening as part of the daily moderate physical activity which can have a profound impact on treating and preventing depression. Have a garden? Get out there and plant some seeds, mow the lawn or get some pruning done. You don’t need to blitz the entire front or back yard in one go, but this activity has the added advantage of being able to see the results of your efforts, which can be a great motivator. Live in an apartment? Give it a little bit of a spruce. Clean a cupboard, the fridge or your bedroom. It’s all activity, particularly any scrubbing or washing. 3. Take a pet for a walk. I received so many positive stories from those with depression who were helped by having a furry friend that I wrote an article about it. Dogs in particular have a lot of rather infectious energy and need to walk (or run) it off every day. So why not combine the energy and love of a four-legged companion with the relatively moderate effort involved in walking and take a stroll in the park? Don’t have a dog? Offer to walk a friend or neighbor’s. That way you do your friend a favor and enjoy the benefits of dog-walking as part of your depression treatment strategy without having to worry about the responsibility of looking after the dog when the walk is over. Anything particularly strenuous in any of that? Didn’t think so, but it still counts as moderate physical activity and can help you feel better and beat or prevent depression if done for 30 minutes each day. Now, in my previous article on how to exercise when depressed, I emphasized the importance of whisker goals as a way to build up your level of physical activity by starting off in small, manageable chunks. Even the above suggestions for moderate exercise can be started off in small manageable chunks for just a few minutes each. Don’t try and do too much too quickly, else the anticipation of future exercise which again takes up lots of time and energy may be enough to put you off any more attempts. Interestingly, the study by Andrea Dunn helps here: it showed that three periods of 10 minutes’ exercise per day can have a similar effect to a single 30-minute block. So, when you feel ready, consider two or three whisker goals of 10 minutes’ period of exercise each day.

you have sinusitis. you have to use regular nasal spray otrivin . you can take tab. dolo 650 mg sos for headache. drink warm water, juice,green veg. Soups,lquid diets, dalia, take protein diets, tulsi leaf in tea or warm water, geloy juice, avoid cold area,cold things .i.e. ice creams, fast/junk foods, chinese foods,spicy foods, fat meal, take bed rest , feel cold then cover body with warm cloths, avoid dust area, clean body, change cloths daily, change bed sheet daily, avoid stress.

When you have back pain that is there for more than 6 months its termed as chronic pain. Most chronic pain is recurrent.
It is very important to know the root cause of pain and the factors aggravating the same.
Ask yourself these simple questions?

Is my posture correct during most part of the day especially in sitting, lifting and sleeping?

Am I doing enough stretches to keep my back muscles and leg muscles relaxed?

Do I do regular core strengthening exercises such as yoga, pilates, aerobics, recreational sports to keep my back in good shape?

Try and focus on improving posture, do daily walking and stretching exercises and core strengthening as tolerated at least 3 times a week to prevent irreversible damage to joints, discs, nerves and muscles in your low back. A physiotherapist can help customize an exercise program suited for your condition.

Hello, Apart from eating right, rest is equally important to ensure you gain wait. Basal metabolism is itself high in weight gainers so it becomes important to have adequate rest. In your case, probably it can be over exertion due to exercise which might not give desired results.
