As I have a pimples problem I.e. Hey lybrate-user, getting a flat tummy largely depends on exercise and following a good diet, do start exercising and have small frequent meals, include more of vegetables and fruits and reduce refined and ready to eat foods for good results.

My baby girl is 5 months old. And her weight is only 5.48 kg. She is only in Breastfeed. Shall I start formula milk once a day. Or shall I continue with only breast feed. Hi, if the baby is fine, plays and is smiling and all his other activities are normal then there is no need to start formula milk, as mother's milk is the best milk for babies, since your baby is 5 months old, you can start giving fruit and vegetable juices once a day as this will help in easy and good transition to weaning foods, which you will be starting from next month.

Hello lybrate-user, it is dangerous to eat or drink in sleeping position as the food or water might enter the wind pipe and it will choke you, and the best position to drink water is by sitting so that water can stay in stomach to do the intended work of digesting the food well.

Hello lybrate-user, our immunity is reduced post surgery or illness, but we can restore it by having good diet and life style changes and one of the main being reducing your stress levels by following the habit of exercising and you can have a diet that is rich in vitamin C and include a lot of dark green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, dark coloured vegetables like carrot, beetroot, brocolli and nuts. You can also have dry fruits and nuts.

It is not possible to loose weight only in one part of the body, as you are 15 kgs over weight. You need to do exercise for all the body parts. Increase your water intake to 3 lts per day, consume complex carbohydrates like whole wheat flour, barley, jowar, brown rice that are rich in fiber, include lot of fruits and vegetables in your meals, consume a glass of water before meals. Do not sit in one place for more than 1 hr, i.e, take small frequent walks.

The feeling of drowsiness occurs when you do not have a good nights sleep, so set you sleep cycle to one time in sense go to sleep on the same time every day and also wake up at one time as our body gets used to this sleep cycle over a period of time and also keep youself active over the course of the day as sedentary life leads to increase in the BP and also exercise release feel good hormone in our body which regulates the sleep centre of our body.

Hello Dushyant, i would suggest you first thing start exercising as exercise, changes the outlook of the person, in a way it makes things positive and again eat healthy food rich in antioxidants like, pomegranate, beetroot and such dark coloured fruits and vegetables. Green tea also helps. Long term impairments are of many kinds, one first needs to know the kind of impairment and then only can decide on the diet and exercise, but walking is recommended irrespective of the impairment.

Hello, Start exercising, exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, yoga, gym anything that is feasible. Eat light meals at 2 hrt intervals, do not have large meals, eat lots of vegetable and fruits. Do not have fried and bakery foods, instant foods like noodles etc often, Drink lots of water

Hello, As i can see you have not put on much in your pregnancy, but do take care that you don't put on weight during lactating period. It is a common notion that you need to eat for two, specially from the mothers, so i would like to suggest you take in 500 calories more, which you will get from eating 2 more chapatis, 1 catorie more of rice and from 1 serving of vegetables and 2 serving of fruits. Also you will take into consideration the ghee and oil and all the sweets. Have small meals rather that three large meals and also have lote of water. Since you have had a C-section, dont jump in strenious exercises without consultation with your Gyneac. Do come for consultation for details diet chart

Hello, Hypothyroidism is a disorder that interferes with the metabolism of the body hence weight loss becomes difficult compared to normal individual. Reduce your gluten intake i.e foods like wheat and wheat products including maida and food products should be reduced as it reduces iodine uptake and suppresses thyroid function in the body, also avoid taking simple sugars from candies and juices. Include more of leafy vegetables, nuts, fish if non-vegetarian, tomatoes. A diet high in fat, moderate protein and low in carbohydrate is good for hypothyroidism. Avoid junk food. Exercise if a must for weight reduction, since you have a small baby I understand it is difficult to go to gym, but you have other ways, take small walks, try and do your household chores by yourself since the baby is 3 years old you can take the baby along with you to the park and play along with him. Try to think of ways to be active and avoid excuses as far as possible and also do not forget to take your thyroid medications first thing in the morning.

Hello, Your weight is normal but to maintain this weight or to even loose a little weight you need to exercise, if not possible to do exercise try to walk as much as possible, if you travel by cab/bus you can get down one or two stops earlier and get home by walk. Try not to take bike for near by places. Since you are eating infrequent meals try to eat fresh fruit and vegetables than the fried foods and simple easily available refined foods. Drink plenty of water avoid sugars in any form like chocolate, juice, cola even tea and coffee as much as possible and also junk foods. Do not eat in front of TV, Computer etc as you tend to loose count of food intake and consume more calories. Do not sit in a place for more than 1 hour, try to take small walks in between. Do not skip your meals especially your breakfast as you tend to binge when you skip your meals.

Dear lybrate-user, according to your height your weight should be around 58 - 68 Kgs. I would suggest you take good quantity of foods that has foods from all the five food groups like cereals, pulses, fruits and vegetables, milk and milk products, meat and fish if you are non vegetarian. Drink plenty of water. Never skip any of your meal especially your breakfast. Have frequent meals rather than one large meal. Include whole cereals and pulses rather than refined foods. Try to include variety in your meals.

Hello, You have just mentioned your weight without height so one cannot estimate your BMI. For the gas problem, you need to have more of fruits and vegetable in your diet that have more fibre that help in reliving constipation. Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water and warm water first thing in the morning and also before going to bed. Do exercise or walking which will also reduce gas problem.

Hello, There are many exercises which do not put pressure on you legs which involve upper body exercise and many floor exercises but which needs to be done in presence of a trainer or in guidance of a teacher for at least a few months to year and is also very important to prevent any form of injuries. You can take help from them and also diet plays a major role in weight loss program so consult a dietitian as to what has to be your diet as per your lifestyle and follow accordingly to reach your weight goal.

Hello lybrate-user, Though your question is not very clear, I am getting a picture that you are working out without a trainer around, and hence this body changes. When you start working our with a trainer they will usually assess your body type and then start your session initially with warm ups and then with weights and other equipment's. Hence I suggest you start you gym sessions with a gym instructor and see the changes yourself.
