How we can control sugar and medicine do we have to take, moreover what precautions should we take.

How we can control sugar and medicine do we have to take, moreover what precautions should we take.
The increase in the blood sugar levels damages nerves and blood vessels. It also leads to complications like cardiovascular diseases, strokes, kidney problems, blindness, dental problems and amputations. High blood glucose levels also damage nerves and blood vessels. Diabetes can also lead to depression, fertility issues, and increased risk of other diseases and lack of mobility as the age of the person increases. It is very difficult to find out what exactly triggers diabetes, but health experts say that genes and environmental factors are responsible for rise in blood glucose levels. There are two types of diabetes- Type 1 Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes. Let us study the causes that give rise to type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Diabetes is a grave medical condition, but with a healthy diet and regular exercise, managing the condition becomes a child?s play. Here are a handful of diabetes home remedies every diabetic can rely on to keep fluctuations of sugar levels under control. Bitter Gourd: Bitter gourds are one among the most effective ways for preventing sugar level fluctuations. Being a safe vegetable, this iron-rich gourd can be consumed by anyone. It influences the glucose metabolism in the body and helps stimulate pancreatic insulin secretion. Known to thwart off insulin resistance, bitter gourd is equally beneficial for people suffering from type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Drink a glass of bitter gourd juice, flavored with a little honey, every morning to keep diabetes away. guava is rich in both vitamin C and fiber, both that help in maintaining normal blood sugar levels. A very good home remedy for diabetes. Just peel the skin and consume one fruit daily to reap its benefits Get some physical activity daily to burn calories and stay in shape. This will also reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Have a lot of fiber in the form of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and whole grains Any queries inform me..

Hi , Along with medication ,try dietary , exercise option as well. 1. Consume a low-calorie diet (often less than 1,400-1,800 calories a day). Most people cannot adhere to this kind of low-calorie diet. 2. Consume a Mediterranean diet, with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, fish and beans as protein sources, and omega-3 and monounsaturated fats (olive oil), while avoiding saturated fats, refined carbohydrates, cholesterol-laden foods, excess omega-6 fats, and most animal products. An increasing percentage of health-conscious Americans are adopting this kind of diet 3. Avoid sugary fruit juices (almost all fruit juices contain too many sugars) and beverages spiked with fructose,80-84 sucrose,85-89 and/or high-fructose corn syrup.Consume a low-glycemic index and low-glycemic load diet. Brisk walks for 20-30 mins at lest 5 times a week

Yes it is normal. In pregnancy there is increase in oestrogen & progesterone level which causes hyperplasia of beta cells of pancreas which leads to more insulin secretion and blood sugar level goes down. In pregnancy fasting should be between 70-90 mg/dl and 2 hr postmeal should be less than 120mg/dl (dipsi guidelines)
