Dear, These are the causes of pimples: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid pimples: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. • use a mild moisturiser for your skin.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * In morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *In Lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *In evening, You can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *In Dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes.* You can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * Work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, You can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, Raise your legs without bending your knees, Do it for 3-5 times daily * Do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * You can take Medohar Guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of Ayurveda expert.

1.You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2.You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3.Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4.Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5.Take light dinner. 6.Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. 7. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner.Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 8. Avoid late night. 9.Don’t sleep in day time 10.Don’t take sleeping pill 11. If no relief consult doctor/me for further advice

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and can apply vaseline and drink a minimum of three litres of water per day.

I have got Achilles Tendonitis (severe pain in my Achilles tendon at the back of left foot) due to car driving and using the clutch excessively, I have not had any injury. Could it be due to uric acid and a gout attack? I have had past history of uric acid? should I take Feburic along with Combiflam. I am 48 years old, weight is higher than normal Uric acid is on higher side -8.2 always. Used to take Feburic, stopped now.

For your high uric acid continue taking Feburic to avoid complications associated with high levels of uric acid. Risk factors for Achilles tendinitis are as follows. 1. Advanced age and Male sex. 2. Obesity 3. Sudden excessive activities like running or jumping. 4. Wearing shoes without proper heel support during work out. 5.Patients with high blood pressure or psoriasis are at higher risk. 6. Flat arch foot predisposes to achilles tendinitis. Management : 1. Rest to the foot for 1 or 2 days. 2. Apply ice pack for 10 minutes 3 to 4 times a day. 3. Apply compression bandage to reduce swelling. 4. Keep feet elevated at night time by placing pillow underneath. 5. Take analgesics like paracetamol or Ibuprofen for relief. 6. Once pain is relieved you can start stretching exercises of calf muscles. 7. Use a shoe insert or wedge to relieve stress on tendon. 8. If pain is persistent and severe please consult .g

Please do following blood test. Cbc with esr ra test with titer s. Uric acid. And other following investigation. X ray knee if needed please do mri of your knee. Inflammation may have some reason. Please go through following treatment option.

All You Need To Know About Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (Heart Surgery)

Coronary artery bypass surgery is a surgical procedure wherein blocked coronary artery or arteries (blood vessels that supply blood to the heart) are bypassed with blood vessels taken from the legs, arms or chest area. The procedure is performed to re-establish normal blood flow to the heart and is mainly used to treat coronary heart disease or coronary artery disease (CAD). 
A person suffering from coronary heart disease receives less supply of oxygen to the heart as his coronary arteries get blocked by fatty material. This accumulation of fat within the walls of the arteries causes these blood vessels to become narrow, leading to problems like chest pain, abnormal heart rhythms, and shortness of breath, among other things. 

Where do these bypassing Blood Vessels come from?

Depending on the extent and location of the blockage as well as size of your coronary arteries, different types of grafts (blood vessels) may be used for the procedure. The grafts that are employed during the procedure are the following:

Internal mammary arteries: These arteries are the most common grafts used for the procedure. They are located in the chest area and are kept in their place of origin so as to not disrupt the flow of oxygen through these blood vessels. They are known to provide the best long-term outcomes and better rate of survival compared to others. 

Saphenous veins: These blood vessels are taken from the leg area and are attached from the aorta to the coronary artery, below the place of blockage.  Generally, these veins are inserted using minimally invasive procedures to prevent scarring and to ensure quicker recovery.

Radial artery: Situated in the lower part of the arm, radial arteries are removed for use as grafts. But this graft option is not prescribed for people suffering from conditions like Raynaud's disease (a rare disorder characterized by the numbness of the fingers and toes in times of stress or cold temperatures), painful fingers during winters or carpal tunnel syndrome (a medical condition of the hand and fingers brought on by the compression of the median nerve travelling through the carpal tunnel of the wrist).

The different procedures for Heart Surgery:
Open heart procedure is the most preferred surgical option for bypassing blocked coronary arteries. During this procedure, the heart is stopped for some time and is put on a heart-lung machine so as to enable the surgeon to perform the necessary bypass.  Beating heart bypass surgery or off-pump procedures, wherein the surgeon carries out the surgery without stopping the heart is also increasingly being used. 

Apart from these traditional procedures, minimally-invasive procedures like robotic procedures (a surgery in which a mechanical device is used) or key-hole surgery (surgery that sees very small incisions being made) are also performed to restore blood flow to the heart. These procedures are becoming increasingly popular as they provide a shorter recovery time and hospital stay alongside less scarring issues.

Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight. Chart Of Foods For Gaining Weight Following is a list of weight gain foods. 6. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg , then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans,soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories. 7. Eat custard apple (Saripa, Sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie. 8. Healthy fats: Avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in India give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola ). 9. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds. 10. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight.. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates. 11. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories. 12. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty. 13. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. Consult your doctor for protein supplements. 14. Non Vegetarian Foods Some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below: 1. Red Meat lean ground beef, lean steaks. 2. Pork, ham, lamb 3. Fish: Eat two portions of salmon, cod, or tuna every day. 4. Shrimps: The nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories. 5. Turkey 6. Chicken breast Chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving. 7. Whole eggs: Eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins A,D and E. ________________________________________ Weight Gain Diet It is not a good idea of Increasing intake of junk foods and fatty foods to gain weight. You should be eating calorie dense yet nutritious food. Your calorie intake should come from foods that are healthy for you. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats. Include these in your diet. Example of weight gain diet Breakfast: Banana and milk or banana shake or smoothie, whole-grain toast, fruits, nuts. Eat more fruit and drink less juice. Do not give milk mixed with ghee to your child. It is not healthy. Lunch: Roti or chapatti or wholegrain bread, rice, green vegetables, paneer, dal, chole recipe, black-eyed beans (lobia), rajma, whole wheat pudding (dalia), etc Dinner: Similar to lunch In-between meals:: fruit, sandwich, yogurt (curd), milk, cheese, salad Avoid deep fried snacks like samosa (samosa recipe), pakodas, bhujia etc. Avoid fast foods including donut.

STRESS AND WORRY are major factors in causing hair fall. Unless it is answered, it is very difficult. In stead of bothering about hair fall, concentrate on what is required out of you at this age. You will excel there and your problem will stop by itself. Do not go for any anti anxiety drugs. Avoid all medicines and shampoos. General guidelines: Take utmost care to get good sleep; if stressed out knowingly or suffering unknowingly, seek help to address the issue. Total darkness in the bed room is very essential for good sleep. No night lamps even. When sleep is disturbed, hair fall starts. Don't go for any so called branded hair oil but use genuine, virgin coconut oil only. Avoid all shampoos. Apply virgin coconut oil freely, let it soak it for 20 minutes, Apply Shikakai or mild, very diluted shampoo lightly. Not more than once a week. Continue and wait for 3 months to see good results Food: Panneer, cheese, eggs, chicken, fish.

You need a which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, white rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.
