My friend is suffering with erectile dysfunction and early ejaculation. He is not married. Is there any treatment available for him without medication like by doing exercises etc. Will this problem can be solved 100% or not?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Faridabad
IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A CASE OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION. THIS IS COMMONLY CAUSED EITHER BY PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES SUCH AS STRESS AND ANXIETY OR BY PHYSIOLOGICAL FACTORS, SUCH AS IMPAIRED BLOOD FLOW IN YOUR BODY DRINK LOTS OF WATER, SLEEP A MINIMUM OF 7 HOURS AND DO REGULAR EXERCISE. ALL OF THIS WILL HELP YOU IMPROVE YOUR ERECTION IN A NATURAL WAY.

Early Signs Of Heart Disease

MBBS, PGDCC
Cardiologist, Delhi
Early Signs Of Heart Disease

There is a common misconception that minor pain or pain in various parts of the body does not indicate a heart problem. Some people are surprised to discover that not all heart attacks involve massive pain or a collapse that results in the need for an ambulance. In fact, some indicators are so insignificant that people overlook or dismiss them. If you have any of the symptoms below, you should see your doctor and ask him if they could be early signs of heart disease.

* Angina

This painful condition is sometimes the precursor to cardiac arrest, although it can also recur for years without triggering any more serious signs. Angina is the most common early warning of cardiovascular disease and can manifest itself in a variety of ways, including a feeling of heaviness in the chest, pain, a squeezing sensation, weight on the chest or a deep pain that causes you to catch your breath. Many people mistake angina for heartburn or indigestion, particularly since the pain is sometimes felt in other areas of the body, including pain in the shoulder, the middle or upper region of the back or even the jaw line.

* Atherosclerosis

This is the narrowing or blocking of the major arteries due to the build-up of plaque from too much cholesterol. It is also referred to as hardening of the arteries. As the arteries become clogged, blood flow to and from the heart is restricted, forcing the heart to work harder. Most people first notice poor circulation that leads to difficulty keeping their hands and feet warm.

* More early signs of heart disease:

There are other indications of heart disease that may come and go for months or even years without an individual connecting them with any sort of serious problem such as cardiovascular illness. Among these are dizziness, shortness of breath after exertion or exercise, sweating, a rapid pulse and heart palpitations. Many people dismiss these signs if they are under fifty years of age, particularly if the symptoms come and go.

* A family history of early heart disease or heart attacks

If there are other close relatives in your family who are contending with heart disease in any form, it could be a sign of genetic familial hypercholesterolemia. If a parent, sibling or child has been coping with cardiovascular health problems, they and the rest of the family should be tested for fh.

# The silent signs of heart disease:

For some people, the early signs of heart disease aren’t felt or heard, but are discovered as the result of testing of some kind. High cholesterol is one such symptom that can eventually lead to more serious, painful conditions after years of being a silent time bomb. Many health care organizations now recommend that if any man younger than 55 or any woman younger than 65 is diagnosed with heart disease, their immediate family members should be tested for high cholesterol and familial hypercholesterolemia because of the risk associated with a family history of heart disease.

Talk to your doctor if you or a member of your family shows any signs of early heart disease. Don’t disregard signs of early heart disease in women, no matter how unlikely they seem. Early detection and treatment can keep small health concerns from turning into major health issues.

I had pcos taking metformin. I read abt normoz medicine is good for pcos. Can I take both medicines together.

MBBS, DGO, MD, Fellowship in Gynae Oncology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Pcos is a very common problem and not such a serious condition. The best treatment for pcos usually is to lose some weight if you are overweight. Stress worsens this condition and so relax and in fact try not to get worked about getting pregnant. The medications you have been prescribed are supportive medicines and mainly reduce insulin sensitization in the body. They are not going to directly cause ovulation (release of egg from ovary) which is the main problem in pcos. Women with pcos do not ovulate regularly. Try to eat a healthy diet consisting of fruits and vegetables. Lots of whole grains and fibre. Exercise should be a part of your routine. You can take both the medicine together.

Any medicine to increase the duration of intercourse. I ejaculate when I enter in to vagina soon. I have been masturbating since childhood and also small penis. What should I do to increase the duration?

BHMS

The average time from vaginal penetration to ejaculation in the average man is 9 minutes. The definition of premature ejaculation is reaching orgasm within 1 minute or less after vaginal penetration (intercourse), or ejaculation that occurs too early for female partner satisfaction. This problem is common, occurring in 30% of adult men, and it is the most common form of male sexual dysfunction. It can be caused by erectile dysfunction, anxiety and nerve hypersensitivity and is, in general, quite treatable by homoepathic treatment. you can click on consult option for homoepathic treatment without side effects.

Today I known my sugar in blood RBS: 102 mg/dl. This is normal or not? How to reduce the sugar in body. Please give any solution.

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology
Endocrinologist, Hubli-Dharwad
Mr. lybrate-user, RBS 102 mg is normal blood glucose level. If a persoe does not suffer with diabetes, then in his body Insulin takes care of glucose metabolism effectively. Only thing is one should take a properly balanced diet avoiding too much of sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, other bakey items and sweetened aerated drinks. Also refrain from alcohol and smoking. Exercise regularly so as to maintain normal weight. Thanks.

I am 21 year old! Male. I'm looking forward to improve my testosterone levels. How could that be done?

BASM, MD, MS (Counseling & Psychotherapy), MSc - Psychology, Certificate in Clinical psychology of children and Young People, Certificate in Psychological First Aid, Certificate in Positive Psychology
Psychologist, Palakkad
Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. The normal range of testosterone levels in healthy adult males is between 280 to 1,100 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL), I can suggest some methods to improve your testosterone level and your sexual desire. Lose Weight. High-Intensity Exercise like Peak Fitness (Especially Combined with Intermittent Fasting) Consume Plenty of Zinc. Strength Training. Optimize Your Vitamin D Levels. Reduce Stress. Limit or Eliminate Sugar from Your Diet. Eat Healthy Fats. Flax seeds increase testosterone in a man's body. They also contain essential fatty acids that are necessary for maintaining libido. Flax seeds help in the proper release of all sex hormones, facilitating sexual desire. Taking one tablespoon of flax seed every day will ensure your sexual health. Take care.
