Is gastric mini bypass surgery completely safe, for type 2 diabetes, what are complications of bariatric surgery.

Is gastric mini bypass surgery completely safe, for type 2 diabetes, what are complications of bariatric surgery.
Dear friend, as far I know no surgery whether minor or major is not completely safe. Plus diabetes makes surgery more difficult and complicated especially in post op period. I can't say mini bypass is good for diabetes but bariatric surgeons claim that after conventional gastric bypass diabetes is cured or mostly controlled. Complication in bariatric surgery do occur. They are many but major is failure to loose wt. So consult a good bariatric surgeon.

lybrate-user ji. The digestion problem though seems very small but they are the roots of future serious diseases. So I will suggest you not take it lightly and especially not to rely on over the counter prescription. Instead you may consult a homeopathy of your trust and get treated properly. Till then you may try taking Nux Vomica 200 1 dose in evening.
