I think you are suffering with plantar fasciitis. The treatment for this is us, stretching of calf muscle, myofacial release of calf muscle and dry needling to main tender area of heel so for this please visit good physio in your town regards.

Hi, I have pain in throwing something from my right hand. At the upper joint. It reduces the throw speed up-to more than half. No injuries. It started one day suddenly after I wake up. It feels like something stuck in smooth movement of hand at the joining point with the body.

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Coffee. Alcohol. Avoid alcohol consumption (if you do). Do pranayama early morning.

Sudden contraction of the muscles of the calves of the legs, frequently occurring at night. Medicinal treatment chamomilla should be taken when it occurs at night. Dose. - two drops in a dessertspoonful of water. Veratrum album if very violent, and accompanied with coldness of the feet. Accessory treatment warm friction with the hand or rough towel, or with strong solution of camphor; or place the foot upon a cold stone, as against the fireplace, or press it against the bedstead, wall, or any other firm body.

I have a pull in a nerve behind my knee and pain in my leg muscles and bones while sleeping. Only on my left leg. I had this kind of pain in my right leg 2 years back. I did some knee exercises and also had dries 60K for a few months. It got better. Then stopped. When pain started again, I had it again for 3 months. It has been a month since I stopped. Now this new pain in my left leg has started. Is it a Vit D problem or something else?

First of all it's not a nerve pull, just muscle stiffness. It's not vitamin D problem, it may be because of electrolytes imbalance that only causing muscle cramps. Just try have plenty of water and do hamstring and calf muscle stretch. Just try this. Simultaneously meet physio and get evaluated, sometimes there may be other possibilities which need clear assessment.

I am 25 now and been having lower back pain for a few years now. In 2007 I was involved in a car accident where we rolled a car 5 times and got ejected from the vehicle and ever since then the pain has slowly worsened but was manageable for awhile but now it hurts to sit or stand for long periods of time. Lying down lessens the pain but it doesn't fully go away. I've been taking tylenol and ibuprofen for awhile and it used to help but it doesn't help much anymore. What could be the cause of my pain and how can I fix it?

Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac 100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. HELLO, Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern. Physical inactivity leads to stiffness in joints specially after age of 35 years. It is advisable for you to take time out for exercise specially stretching exercises to get relief from pain. Increased body weight also puts pressure on back and lower limbs which leads to constant weight. Exercising, walking regularly and eating healthy nutritious diet can help to decrease weight and in turn decrease pain. Hope I could solve query. Feel free to write back.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. I want to know your detailed clinical history as to what do you actually mean by stretching of nerves, is it back pain or something else that you want to describe? also as you are very young, my advice to you will be to start with some intensive physical therapy sessions with a good physiotherapist, take a short course of ant-inflammatory medication which suits you for 5-7 days, maintain proper posture while working and at home, avoid putting too much stresses on your affected shoulder and lower back region till the time you are pain free and start 2-3 km of daily morning brisk walks. Also attach your relevant investigations, your treatment records till now. It helps me to better understand your condition and prescribe accordingly. Please also mention your co-morbid conditions and drug allergy. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
