Surya, i feel ur muscles are weak. U need to train ur musclea and slowly strengthen them. this process takes time. if ur pain is severe and disturbing ur day to day routine then u can take some anti inflammatory medicines and do h9t homentation. precautions- dont bend forward and avoid lifting heavy weight. do not sit continuously more than 45 mins.

Hi, please follow these tips to stop snoring: - reduce your weight if you are obese. - perform pranayama (breathing exercises) everyday. - quit smoking which irritates the mucosal layer of the nose and throat and causes blockage and results in snoring. - quit alcohol and sedatives which relax the throat muscles and results in snoring. - sleep on sides instead on back. - elevate the head by using a thick pillow which eases the breathing. - clear the nose before going to bed. - establish regular sleep pattern. - keep the bedroom air moist by using humidifier; as dry air irritates the mucosal membrane in thenose and throat. - perform throat exercises like repeating the vowels a, e, i, o, you loudly for 2-3 mins few times a day or keeping the tongue behind the teeth and moving it backwards - 3-4 times a day. - anti snoring appliances can also be used. Apply rumalaya liniment on the chest and the back 3 times a day and give hot water fomentation.

Dear lybrate-user, changing posture is bit difficult but if you want you can change. If you back is giving pain while standing or walking. Try it to bend little forward, do some back strengthening excercises like lying flat on floor lifting legs straight up and again down, folding legs towards and lift your head until shoulder. Try this if facing difficulty can consult me again.

I am 22 years old and from past 2 months i'm feeling pain in back. I believe it started because of mattresses. The bed was broken down a bit in the middle so the mattress kinda bend a bit in middle. After one week, I started feeling pain. I stopped using that bed, but the pain remains. Someone told me to sleep on floor and I did that too. But no relaxation. Pain only happens when I sleep, nothing happens in morning or day time. Could it be because of mattresses? what should I do?

dear friend, please start taking balance diet and a lot of water daily. start some physical physical exercise like walking etc. make a buzzy schedule for a day. use mustard/ coconut oil for local application. tell your progress to guide further.

In a free diagnosis camp, I got to know that I have osteoporosis (T score -3.5). Post this I got my full checkup done, all other tests are good except (Vit D 11.98) & B12 88) which are towards insufficiency end. Though my lifestyle was sedentary but I have picked up running in last 5 years and have run quite a few half marathons. I have left all this as I have developed foot pain and weight again increased post quitting running. After a gap of a year, I have again started workouts and I run 2 km 3-4 times a week and do 30 min walks daily, followed by workout. I do these exercises in park so get some sun exposure as well. I am 39 year old (Wt 85 kgs), my legs pains whenever I run fast now. Pls advise what should be done so that I can continue running long.

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, you seem to do very well with your workout. Keep it up. Avoid running fast continuously. You can do that intermittently and increase the speed gradually. Secondly. Bmd test done in a free camp is a very crude sort of screening. If you wish, get bone densitometry done at a reputed radiology centre for exact assessment. You may take dv k-60 once a week and becosule twice a day for 3 months to compensate the deficiency reported. Take care.

Its a part of IT Syndrome. Try to sit for the least possible time. Take frequent breaks and focus on posture and core stability exercises and ergonomics.

Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Take frequent breaks at work. Core strenthening exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

if there is any nodule or elevation of vein in the leg please consult general medicine specialist. if not check for knee joint position it should be neutral and not to be more bend towards back. if it is knee joint should be strengthened. if overweight, weight should be reduced.

It could be due to cervical spondylosis this is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days do neck & back (spine) exercises use of cervical collar will give you relief. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

As you feel pain in knee, follow these usefultips for pain relief: * first check out bone mineral density (bmd). In case of low bmd, your calcium level in body are low. So take calcium rich diet daily. Take a glass (300 ml) of full cream milk daily or 100 gm of cheese or 1-2 eggs regularly. * give a gentle oil massage to knee regularly and wrap your knees with cloth dipped in hot water for atleast 10-15 minutes. * wear knee cap or wrap crape bandage during walk for knee support. * sit atleast for 5-8 minutes in sunlight in morning or evening for vitamin-d. *avoid heal shoe and wear only flat shoes for balanced load on knees. * check out your blood sugar level and hemoglobin level in every 6 months. * if you have any history of rheumatoid arthritis in family then checkout your ra factor. * take guggalu tablets if himalaya one tablet daily for atleast 3 months. * take a piece of garlic, crush it and boil it a glass of milk and drink daily for fast pain relief.

It is chronic pain which get aggravated especially when you walk more and is better with rest. Although there can be other causes, so please tell me whether there is any associated swelling, skin discoloration, warmth on touch etc? initial treatment modalities are aimed at relieving inflammation of the fascia, like ice packs, physical therapy, footwear modification and anti-inflammatory therapy. The following thing if you adapt it will be helpful 1. Soak 60 g of wheat in water overnight 2. Add 2 tsp coriander powder in the morning 3. Add 2 tsp cuscus powder 4. Blend this into a paste 5. Take 250 ml of milk in bowl 6. Add the mixture to the milk 7. Boil for 20 min 8. Eat this lukewarm Causes: • Old age • Lifting heavy weights • Back injury • Improper sitting posture • Slipped disk This remedy will be helpful.
