Sclerotherapy can cause skin necrosis with scarring and also can cause thrombhophlebits or thrombhoembolism and nowadays laser ablation therapy treatment is the safest option for treating varicose veins.

There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. Topical capsaicin, derived from chili peppers, may help with arthritis, diabetic nerve pain, and other conditions. There's evidence that glucosamine can help relieve moderate to severe pain from osteoarthritis in the knee. Do reply back for private consultation. And detailed treatment plan.
My father is suffering with infection in blood of veins in foot So he consulted to neurologist doctor they have done blood test urine test and sugar they told that nothing is there but my father is suffering with swelling and pain So finally we consulted to a pediatric doctor just she saw the leg and told that the veins are formed with infection inside the foot it's better to take scanning. So finally scanning completed The doctor told infection was formed in the blood veins inside the foot They prefer infection treatment for that problem So I need suggestions from you my dear please help to my father.

In Probability your father has varicose veins Varicose veins are gnarled, enlarged veins. Any vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in your legs and feet. That's because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in the veins of your lower body. For many people, varicose veins and spider veins — a common, mild variation of varicose veins — are simply a cosmetic concern. For other people, varicose veins can cause aching pain and discomfort. Sometimes varicose veins lead to more-serious problems. Varicose veins may also signal a higher risk of other circulatory problems. Treatment may involve self-care measures or procedures by your doctor to close or remove veins.

Asked for male, 53 years old from Chennai
I underwent laser treatment for varicose veins. It was not effective. I did not feel the promised effect after the surgery. It is so painful now and I have developed some kind of wounds in that area. It is a little deep and pink in color. I have burning sensation. Even after applying ointments and taking antibiotics there is no sign of recovery. Kindly give me a solution.

I have dvt problem. Doctor suggested to take dabiclot 150 mg and betacap 40 mg. Twice everyday? Is it safe.
MS - General Surgery, MBBS Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, FAIS, Fellowship In Minimal Access Surgery
Dabiclot is one of the safest anticlotting agent. Only thing is you have to be careful while shaving, playing and inform the doctor if you ever sustain any injury. Even betacap is safe, but consult your physician for what indication, has he prescribed it.

It is ok to see the veins, but if you are having pain, that needs evaluation. Please get a venous and arterial doppler of your affected hands and consult a vascular surgeon. Take care.

Hi. Surgery is indicated only for particular conditions only. Lik pain, skin changes n ulcer formation. But they won't get cure with medications. Medicines can delay surgery only.
