I am 25 year female I have PCOD problem from last 1 year what should I do to overcome this problem. My height is 5.3 and weight is 55 kg and I am unmarried.

We’ve heard over and over again that weight loss is important in managing PCOS and that diet and exercise are more effective than medications in improving your PCOS symptoms 1. Eat organic food. Avoid junk. 2. Drink lots of water. 3. Exercise regularly. Brisk walking is a good idea to keep weight under control. 4. Visit nature places and spend time alone. 5. Take steps to calm your mind. Worrying about the problem can only make it worse – listen to music, read or spend time gardening. Butterfly Pose can be very helpful in PCOS. Don’t flap your legs too much; instead try holding the posture for long. 1. Even more helpful is SuptaBadhakonasana (Reclining Butterfly Pose), which works just like the Butterfly Pose,this time lying down. This is what makes it extremely relaxing. To enhance the experience, play some soft music and place cushions under your hip. For beginners, it is a good idea to use cushion support while doing this posture. 2. Bharadvajasana (Bharadvaja’s Twist) is a seated spinal twist that helps PCOS patients. 3. Chakki Chalanasana (moving the grinding wheel) is a very simple exercise with several benefits. It helps massage the liver, kidneys, pancreas, uterus and the reproductive organs. 4. Shavasana (Corpse Pose) is another useful posture to try. In PCOS, the more you relax, the better you feel and this posture will help you completely relax at the end of your yoga session. 5. Padma Sadhana practice is also considered very effective for PCOS patients. 6. Make sure you don’t hold the postures that put pressure on the abdomen (Bow Pose, Superman Pose, Cobra Pose and Boat Pose) for a long time. 7. A few rounds of Sun Salutation at a faster pace can be good for weight loss; however, it is a good idea to practice only a few slow rounds daily for more relaxation. •

Initially viral fever could be possible reason if this is the history of fever more than five days then it need to be tested for bacterial and parasitic infection this is the rule

Dear Gas is common after delivery. It is causing the pain. Take a laxative to clean your stomach and do not eat anything that is causes digestive disorder or gas. Drink adequate anount of hot water daily with a little soonth (dry ginger powder) Take regular massage to bring back health and strength. Regards.

Hi here are some changes to make to improve your eating habits: - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

My friends daughter who is19 years old and weight 55 kgs suffers very badly from pre menstrual cramps she goes short of breath and her hands &legs start getting stiff. She has to admitted to the hospital and the doctors give her nebulizer with budecort 0.5 mg and serenace injection. What could be the reason for this and what can be done to avoid this.

Hi lybrate-user Sad to hear about your daughter's condition. These medications are given for treatment of persistent bronchial asthma. Looks like her asthma symptoms get worse during PMS and periods. Asthma symptoms can start to worsen anywhere from four days before menstruation through the last day of your period. This is most common in women with severe asthma. You can treat her for asthma and meet an allergist doctor. You may follow the following: If your asthma is particularly bothersome just before or during your period, there are steps you can take to help head off an asthma attack. Write a diary. Write down details about your daughter's asthma symptoms throughout the month and compare them to the pattern during her menstrual cycle. This can help determine if there’s a relationship between your asthma and your periods. Bring the diary to appointments with your allergist. Talk to your doctor. If your asthma symptoms consistently worsen around your period, discuss possible remedies with your doctor. Your doctor may recommend increasing preventive medication during this time of the month. This will save hospitalisation every time. Consider hormone therapy. Manipulating the timing of menstruation with artificial hormones may help. Some women who have asthma attacks right before or during their period can benefit from hormone therapy. If you are pre-menopausal, this may mean taking birth control pills, wearing a patch, or getting injections. In a recent study of menstruating women 28 to 58 years old, asthma symptoms improved for the women taking oral contraceptives. Avoid triggers. Be particularly diligent about avoiding anything that could set off an asthma attack in the days before and during your period. Common asthma triggers include cold air, exercise, pollutants, dust, and smoke, including second-hand smoke from being around smokers. Taking aspirin can also trigger an asthma attack in some women. Be prepared. At the very least, be sure you have your rescue inhaler with you at all times on the days before and during your daughter's period.

Hii, psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. To start with coconut oil is best remedy for dry skin to be applied after taking bath. Generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurveda has got a complete remedy for psoriasis. It is a safer option and can be used for longer duration without any side effects. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. Psoriasis is a manageable disease and can be managed with ease and effectively using ayurveda. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients.

There is no chance of pregnancy. U had sex in safe period. Usually fertile period is between 9 th day to 18th day for a 28 days menstrual cycle. You are not pregnant. But if you are not married try to use protection.

I will suggest her to concentrate on dietary intake and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

I am giving brief idea about diet in fever 1. Avoid food from outside 2. Avoid fatty/ fried spicy food for few days 3. Take homemade freshly prepared light food like chapati, dalia, curries, Fruits etc 4.plenty of fluids. 5. Vegetable juice. Carrot, cucumber, and green leaf vegetables juice well to provide the basic nutrients (Homemade freshly prepared) Consult Physician/me for Further Management

It may be due to hormonal imbalance. If this problem is continueously going on, get ultrasound of lower abdomen and thyroid profile test done to ruleout the main cause.

I have fever for last four days, goes up to 101.6 n rises every after 6-7 hrs, feels cold not chill when starts rising. No other complaint except constipation for last three days. Dr.says can be viral so wait for a day.

1.Take one tablet of crocin Advance (500 mg) as and when required upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2.cold sponging Sos 3.Drink plenty of water 4.Take rest 5.If no relief do blood examination like ESR, CBC, Widal/ Typhidot test, Blood for mp/malaria antigen, Dengue antigen (NS1) test, urine Re/Me, x ray chest after consulting physician and follow the advice and treatment.

Hye. You are young. You need a healthy balanced diet because your nutrition needs for your age are very high for growth. Trying to follow fad diets will only stunt your growth. A healthy lifestyle involves, choosing a balanced diet and healthy eating plan. A healthy eating plan: Emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products Includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts Choose foods low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium), and added sugars A healthy eating plan that helps you manage your health includes a variety of foods you may not have considered. If" healthy eating" makes you think about the foods you can't have, try refocusing on all the new foods you can eat—  All seasonal fruits are great. Vegetables ― try something new each week, as per season. Commit to going to the green grocery and trying a new vegetable each week. Calcium-rich foods ― not only milk but curd, paneer or nuts and seeds and some vegetables and pulses too. A new twist on an old favorite ― if your favorite recipe calls for frying fish or breaded chicken, try healthier variations using baking or grilling. Maybe even try a recipe that uses paneer or soya nuggets in place of higher-fat meats. Healthy eating is all about balance. You can enjoy your favorite foods even if they are high in calories, fat or added sugars. The key is eating them only once in a while, and balancing them out with healthier foods and more physical activity. Exercise at least thrice a week. Any exercise you enjoy or a sport or a hobby like dancing etc will do.

Good quality lean protein foods like egg whites, toned milk & its products like paneer, curd, cheese, alongwith tofu, sprouts, dals, peas, beans help to improve muscle mass. Diet should be balanced too so that different food groups are included daily & excess of protein foods should not be consumed. Physical exercise with a combination of cardio, resistance or weights and stretching would help.
