First thing what medications is he on? it is preferable to put him on insulin along with oral ant diabetic drugs. Avoid deep fried foods, no sweet and avoid fruits like mango, grapes and chikkoo. Small banana one may be eaten.

IN HYPOTHYROIDISM:--- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Do Tests every 3 to 6 months. And consult doctor on time.

At your age, balanced diet, regular light exercises and good scheduled sleep avoiding smoking and alcohol or any other addictions if present routinely must suffice. But still if you insist some supplements can be prescribed. I want you to try the above said for a week or so, and then you can have a follow up here if you feel like having some. Regards.

I have knee pain for couple of weeks. My Ortho prescribed me Supradyn, CarniQ, Shelcal and Etoshine. He advised me to avoid walking and sitting in floor but I couldn't as I just got married last week. I still have the pain but when I observed, is painful when an in office than at home. Could this be because of a vitamin d deficiency? What should I do then? It's painful only while walking and not at normal conditions.

If you are loading you knees with 96 kgs, which are designed to carry 70 kgs, they are going to give way some day. Do knee exercises, reduce your food intake, check your thyroid, eat more salads, healthy foods. Do not eat fried foods, maida, sugar etc.

Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Dip a handkerchief in cold water and keep it over closed eyes for 2 minutes during breaks, you will feel better. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle number. Medicines for allerrgy can only be started after seeing personally.

Donating a part of the liver (right lobe) is quite possible. The part of the liver grows back in the donor in 6 - 8 weeks time. However, like any major surgery there are attended risks of such a surgery for the donor. Over all it is quite possible to donate and live normally.

Azoospermia must be confirmed by a second test. Again in some azoospermia, you can actually have sperms in your testis, that is not secreted in your semen. So, you must consult your doctor and find out the exact cause of azoospermia and then we can treat you properly. Don't worry. Still there is hope.

Both have nothing in common except you put dirty hands on your face. Pimples can be due two reasons - 1) Eating lot of fried, oily stuff. No fiber food eaten. Complains of constipation. 2) dandruff problem. Wash hairs with shampoo twice a week. Wash your face before going to bed daily with mild soap. Take care of these to solve your problem. Ideally Masturbation should not be more than 2-3 times a week for any adult. It will keep you sexually active. Too much of everything is bad as always. Along with this schedule of masturbation you need proper diet which should consist of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and one hour of jogging early morning every day. This will keep you fit for future activity also.

You need to take a balanced diet. If you want to control please follow a diet chart. Eat more vegetables. Avoid low glycemic foods. Eat flax seed. Eat frequently but low calorie. Use rice bran, soya, sesame oil of doctor's choice for cooking. Use 15-20 ml oil/day.

Hi gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.
