It may be because of some trauma. Whatever the reason, treatment remains same. You need to use ring cushion. Avoid sitting on hard surface. Follow this for 1 year. Don't even try to see if you still have pain or not till then.

Is thepain only in your back? does it radiate down to legs? if not then you should start focussing on maintaining good posture while working or studying, you shouldn't lie down and study or watch tv. Doe regular back strengthening exercises.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

My age is 33 yrs. I am experiencing pain in right shoulder blade. The pain is not spreading to other places. I noticed when I sit for too long I get this pain. Could you please suggest what precausions to take or any medicine.

Hi thanks for your query. If you have only localized shoulder pain, then you have to rule out any injury as a cause for it. There are many causes of shoulder pain but we have to look out for a cause as treatment is dependent on it. If there is no swelling/fever etc, then I think intensive physical therapy with a short course of anti-inflammatory medications can be tried, if it does not improve in next 2-3 weeks, then we will have to evaluate to find out a cause and treat accordingly. Hi, is there any history of injury on the knee? simple nutritional deficiency can cause general weakness of the body. Would advise your friend to take homoeopathic medicines - alfaalfa tonic and five phos. - both thrice daily, and let me know about his condition after a month.

Surgery is not necessary. Surgery is indicated if there is instability in your knee. If you hav a complete tear of acl then your knee is prone to early osteoarthritic changes as compared to your aged individual. If you are active in any kind of sports then its better you opt for surgery. Also this surgery is never an emergency. If you have sedentarty lifestyle then you can avoid it.

This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help and along side you can do hot water fermentation. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain ie. Due to the nerve compression.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

You should go for physiotherapy. Stiffness of knee is not good. Do hot fomentation and quadriceps strengthening exercise. Use volitra gel locally for pain. You can still walk but try to get some rest also.

Hi lybrate-user, This is very common after delivery. If it's a normal delivery there is Separation of pubic symphysis it's in Hip. Hope physiotherapist would have taught some execises after delivery. Please keep doing it. There will be core muscle weakness (deep muscles of spine and hip). Gradual strengthening exercises of abdominals and core will prevent these pains.

Hi, your back pain n constipation may not b related. To gt rid off the pain I would like u to visit any McKenzie therapist in your area who wud do a complete assessment of the prob and wud provide u treatment for the same. Once u know d root cause solving the prob becomes easy and u can b completely cured. I generally teach my patients how to prevent further recurrent episodes and self management.
