Hello- Since your wife is unwilling to take some medical assistance for her low libido issue, its better to start some herbal aphrodisiac supplements of ayurveda for her. Herbs like asparagus, Maca, gota kolu etc increases the blood flow towards female genitals and increase the levels of sex hormones naturally thus boosting the sexual urge in female. This might solve your issue without any problem.

Usually there is nothing to worry as it may be after pains due to prostaglandin release. However I would advice you to see a Gynaecologist if in addition to this you have white discharge or urinary symptoms or painful periods.

Menses irregularity may be due to hormonal changes. If there is pain and itching per vagina with foul smelling too then there is fungal infection. Keep clean and dry the vaginal portion and apply antifungal cream on genital region where itching appear. Get thyroid and ultrasound of lower abdomen done.

Any cyst more than 5 cm has to be removed surgically. But if she is not showing any symptoms like irregular or heavy menses or pain in abdomen then you can try 2 to 3 months with medicines. Ayurvedic medicines and Panchakarma with modification in diet and lifestyle will help her. Repeat ultrasound on 5 or 6 th day after 3 months and decide accordingly. You have not mentioned details regarding marital status and whether she is anxious for child or completed her family. Treatment protocol may vary according to it.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Yes. You read it right. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce. But the internal growth is too rapid at this period. But you will not be able to identify any of the internal growth at this time except through ultra sound. Please do not panic. If there is any problem, your obstetrician will appraise you about it. Worrying cause stress and depression and it in turn can cause other problems and could affect the womb. Be pleasant and worry free and try to be happy always. Take care.

Did You Know These 7 Health conditions Affect Not Just Women
7 Health conditions that affect both men and women

A man and woman’s bodies are completely different from each other. It’s not merely the structure or appearance that is different but it is also the functioning, internal systems and sub-systems that are quite distinct. Therefore, men and women are affected by different diseases at different ages and conditions. But there are quite a few diseases that are common in women but, are also found in men. Some of those diseases are-

Breast cancer- It’s a popular but false conception that only females have breasts. The reality is that males have breasts too! Men are affected by breast cancer, though not as frequently as women, but they do!

Osteoporosis- This disease of weakened bones is usually found in women. Men too suffer from this disease that is hard to discover due to the lack of symptoms.
Lupus- The inflammatory disease is found in men on rare occasions, but the fact is- it does!

Eating disorders- Under-eating or over-eating due to depression or issues concerning body image has always been synonymous with women. But, men also develop irregular eating habits depending or moods, mental state and anxiety over self-image.

HPV- This sexually transmitted disease is commonly found in women but factually it can develop in men as well. It is difficult to discover it via tests and even hard to find symptoms, but it does occur in men in a few cases.

Migraines- Men and women both suffer from migraines though the frequency of it is observed more in women.

Rheumatoid arthritis- This is a common disease found in women, 70% of the affected people are women hence it is perceived that it is a ‘woman’s; disease. It develops in men as well, especially after a certain age.

5 Tips To Boost Your Memory

5 Tips To Boost Your Memory

1. Don’t Forget About Physical Exercise

Believe it or not, when you’re exercising your body, you’re exercising your mind as well. Aerobic exercise or yoga gets your blood pumping, which increases the oxygen going to your brain and lowers your risk of disorders such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease that can lead to memory loss.

If you can, start with some exercise in the morning. This can clear your head right off the bat to stay focused and alert during the day. Exercises that require coordination are especially helpful for keeping the mind active such as simply throwing a ball back and forth.

2. Make Sure You’re Sleeping

Sleep is one of the best ways to make sure your brain and memory are in tip-top shape on a daily basis. To get the most out of your sleep, aim for 7-9 hours every night.

Make sure to shut off the electronics at least an hour before bed to help the mind shut off as well. Try to limit your caffeine and alcohol intake earlier in the day. Both can result in a shallow sleep.

3. Keep Your Brain Stimulated

Research has shown that keeping mental stimulation as we age is very important for lowering the risk of dementia.

Stay social, interact with others, learn new skills, play mind-exercise games like crossword puzzles or Sudoku. Interacting with others and continuing to learn is vital for keeping the brain healthy at any age.

4. Be Aware Of Your Stress

Chronic stress can not only make someone miserable, but also cause serious long term effects. Stress over time has been shown to destroy brain cells and damage the area of the brain that creates new memories and recalls past ones.

To avoid memory loss, minimize your stress. Don’t take on too many tasks if they overwhelm you, sometimes it is okay to say no. Make sure you have outlets to relieve stress whether it is physical exercise or talking with someone about your frustrations.

5. You Are What You Eat

Certain foods have shown to be significant in preventing memory loss. Make sure to get your fruit and vegetable servings in. Don’t forget avocados!), many are filled with antioxidants that help protect your brain cells. Eat more foods with omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon, tuna and foods cooked with olive oil.

Take a good quality Omega-3 supplement such as Innate Choice or Nordic Naturals. Green tea is another option that has powerful antioxidants to protect from brain damage. Stay away from sugar and sugary foods.

Your memory is important at any age. Start incorporating these healthy habits to keep a strong memory for years to come.

4 Typical Ways To Masturbate Better

It is no secret that when you pleasure yourself 'the right way', it would definitely pump you up for your next session. However, there are several other ways which are unconventional and yet as beneficial and helpful as regular masturbation. Debunking all myths that masturbation reduces erectile functioning or sperm count level or even sexual fertility, these unconventional techniques can definitely help you in various ways; providing you with the right kind of satisfaction and fulfillment and boosting your overall stamina. However, excessive masturbation is strongly recommended against as it has its long-term side-effects.

  1. Although your testicles are primarily concerned with the function of sperm production, they are also, technically speaking, an erogenous zone. Therefore, when you masturbate, it would be more helpful if you could utilize your testicles for the purpose of acquiring more satisfaction. By pulling your testicles slightly downward while masturbating, you could also try caressing, tickling or stroking them to see how it feels. You could also try holding them in a light grip and not too firm with your other hand.
  2. A change in position is also pretty effective in heightening your senses and providing a better feel whilst masturbating. Keeping your hand still and only moving your body is such a way. While doing this, you can masturbate while kneeling or standing or sitting or even swapping hands. The more the variety, the better will be the level of pleasure. Moreover, interchanging positions in between has also been proved to be very effective.
  3. The use of sex toys and other accessories can further enhance your satisfaction level. For instance, realistic vaginas can prove to be pretty handy in maximizing your sexual potency. Other credible sex toys are also available which are as helpful. Another effective technique of masturbating better is via porn or R-rated movies. By simultaneously watching movies while masturbating, your imagination gets fueled up with all kinds of sexual fantasies, providing you with more immediate satisfaction than usual.
  4. There is also the 'start and stop method' which is very useful in regulating and improving your level of stamina. A conscious and deliberate effort is required in maintaining control over your ejaculatory muscles. The best way to do this is by setting a time limit and not allowing yourself to ejaculate within the given time frame. Learn more about Premature Ejaculation.
