I have leg pain in last 3 months , I am 40 years old now, have if got any relief. What should I do now?
Quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I am 19 years old boy. I have wrinkles of forehead. And also my face is looking like an 25 to 30 age men. I need some...
Wrinkles in your face at this age of 19 i suggestive of that you dont take proper care of your health and your intake of fluids is very low.Inspite of taking antiageing tablet concentrate on your diet a these tabss will tgake you nowhere. Please follow the below given steps in next 15 days, you will feel better. Castor Oil Castor oil is one of the best natural under eye moisturizers. Wash your hands and face with water and dry your skin with a soft towel. Dip your finger in castor oil and massage the wrinkled areas with it. For the best results, apply this remedy at night right before you sleep. When practiced regularly, it will not only remove wrinkles and fine lines, but it will also provide your skin a youthful and smooth look. Cucumber Juice Rubbing the under eye wrinkles with a cotton ball soaked in cucumber juice is also very effective. Cucumber contains natural ingredients that refresh the areas around your eyes, tighten your skin and give it a smoother look. Honey And Potato You can prepare another great home remedy for under eye wrinkles by using ½ tsp. of honey and ¼ slice of a raw potato. Mix honey in mashed potatoes to make a paste. Spread this paste on two cotton eye masks and put them on both the eyes, making sure that the masks are also covering the under eye wrinkles. Keep your eyes tightly closed so that the paste should not enter your eyes. After twenty minutes, remove the masks and wash the areas thoroughly with water. Mild wrinkles will almost go away immediately with this remedy. The darker and more stubborn lines will take a few weeks provided you are applying this remedy daily. Take apprx 8-10 glas water daily Drink 2 glass milk daily

General Physician,
Hi,
I Am 26 years old male. I am very thin. I want to increase my weight. Please suggest me. What should I do? Please...
If you feel you are grossly underweight and not gaining weight, first of all you have to check if you have any disease like anaemia or thyroid disease by a blood tests CBC, PBS and TSH. If the tests are normal, you have to do this for gaining weight and follow these steps .1) Estimate your calorie needs for weight gain. First, you need to determine your total energy expenditure (TEE). For thin men, multiply your weight in pounds by 11, and for thin women, multiply your weight in pounds by 10. Then multiply this number by an activity factor. If you get very little activity, use a factor of 1.3; if you get a little exercise or have a job that requires standing, use 1.6 if you're a man and 1.5 if you're a woman; or if you are moderately active, such as with a light labour job, use an activity factor of 1.7 if you're male and 1.6 if you're female. Once you've determined your TEE, add 500 to this number for your total calorie needs for weight gain. 2) Eat five to six small meals a day. Eating smaller meals more often helps prevent you from getting too full, which might help you get in more calories and help you reach your weight-gain goals. 3) Balance your intake. Even though you need to eat more calories to help you fill out, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics says it's still important that you include a variety of foods from all the food groups, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein foods and dairy products. 4) Add calories to your usual foods. For example, at breakfast make your oatmeal with milk instead of water; add cheese and avocado to your sandwich at lunch; and instead of steaming your veggies at dinner, sauté them in olive oil. 5) Snack on high-calorie foods. Fruit and nut mixes, peanut butter on whole-wheat toast, cheese and crackers are all nutrient-rich, high-calorie snack options that can help you gain weight. 6) Drink your calories -- but in a nutritious way. While water is good for hydration, when you want to gain weight it's better to drink beverages that supply calories. Milk and 100 percent fruit juice make the healthiest drink choices. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics also suggests that you drink your fluids in between meals so that it doesn't affect your appetite during mealtimes. 7) The most important gist of the weight gain programme is to Keep a food diary or use an online calorie tracker to help make sure you are meeting your calorie needs. Add non-fat dried milk powder to your milk, soup, yogurt, mashed potatoes and hot cereal. A 1/4-cup serving of the powder adds 109 calories and 11 grams of protein. To help make sure you gain muscle and not fat, add strength training to your exercise routine.

What Causes Computer Vision Syndrome?

Cornea Cataract & Lasik

What Causes Computer Vision Syndrome?

Eye problems that are caused due to the computer can be termed as Computer Vision Syndrome. Staring a computer screen has become a part of our daily lives, for many of us. Work and pleasure both include using a computer or a tablet. Looking at this screen for prolonged periods can cause many problems including strain, pain and stress due to the repeated eyeball movements and non-blinking nature of the work that we do when we stare at a screen for many hours.

Let us find out more about the causes of computer vision syndrome or CVS:

  • Repeated Movements: When the same motion is carried out on a continuous basis, it can lead to stress based injuries due to the strain and stress caused in that part of the body. Much like carpal tunnel syndrome and other injuries like tennis elbow and shoulder joint problems, this condition is also caused due to the constant and repetitive movements which are known to lead to stress injuries. The longer you continue the activity, the worse it is bound to get.
  • Focus: When you sit in front of a computer screen and work, one of the most important things that you are doing is called focus. When you focus on a screen on a continuous basis, to align your eyes with what you need to read or see, you are causing long term damage if this activity is carried out for too many hours on a daily basis. This back and forth motion that makes us focus can lead to pressure and strain on the eyes, which should be broken by concentrating on other activities like writing on a paper or reading from a book.
  • Eye Muscles: These types of movements and activities can actually put a lot of pressure and undue strain on the muscles of the eyes. Also, things become even more difficult for the delicate eye muscles with the glare and blue light emanating from the computer screen which also has other elements like a flicker. This causes the eyes to align themselves by putting pressure on the eye muscles, which makes working on a computer that much more challenging than reading a book.
  • Wrong Glasses or Lenses: If you have nearsightedness or farsightedness, then these problems can become even more severe due to this kind of condition. Also, if you are wearing the wrong prescription glasses or lenses, your eyes are bound to suffer even more when you stare at a screen for such a long time.

Apart from all these factors, working on a computer gets even more challenging after a certain age like your forties. If you wish to discuss about any specific eye problem, you can consult a specilized opthamologist and ask a free question.

I masturbate once in three days .is any kind of health issues related with this no of times?
Masturbation in Men: Masturbation is a kind of topic which is normally avoided by people as they consider it as a taboo. However, masturbation is healthy and completely normal sexual behaviour. There are so many myths associated with masturbation which are really not true. However, masturbating can have some adverse effects but a few. But, masturbation is not dirty and doesn’t make you less as a person, so don’t feel ashamed or bad about masturbation and activities related to it. What is Masturbation? Masturbation is a process in which a person derives sexual pleasure and satisfaction by stroking or rubbing his/her genitals by his/her hands manually and using sex toys. It is normally done solo but, also performed in relationships to get orgasm and sex arousal. It’s completely a normal activity of humans which has got no harmful physical and emotional effects. Masturbation has got so many benefits to human body and in the case of excessive masturbation it could lead few harmful effects. Myths about Masturbation: Masturbation minimizes sexual performance and libido later in life. Reduces the quantity of semen. Badly affects the quality of semen. Makes semen thin in texture making it watery. Causes blindness. Causes mental illness. Causes infertility. Causes growth of hair on palms. BENIFITS: Manages your premature ejaculation. Reduces the risk of Prostate Cancer. Makes you pelvic muscles strong to prevent erectile dysfunction. Improves sperm quality and motility. Helps your sexual intercourse to enhance by increasing your sexual longevity. Reduces nasal congestion during cold and flu. Reduces stress and depression. Enhances your mood. Helps to get good sleep for insomnia patients. Makes you aware of your sexuality. Enhances your immune system. Satisfies your sexual desire and strengthens your relationships. Controlled masturbation will not effect height. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Harmful effects: Can cause parasympathetic nervous functions which leads to over production of sex hormones and neurotransmitters which cause side effects like fatigue, memory loss, hair loss, groin pain and blurred vision. Cause obsessive compulsive behaviour like addiction to masturbation. Cause bruises if stroked too vigorously. Leads to hardening of the penis skin. Causes desensitized of penis skin. Can cause seminal leakage. Masturbation is nothing evil or sinful, so no need of getting ashamed of yourself. Rather it’s a matured sexual activity to keep yourself sexually active, sexually satisfied and your mind in control. It is totally normal and safe sexual behaviour for both men and women. It enhances your health in every aspect, but remember too much of anything can be real bad. So, do masturbate maximum weekly 2 or 3 times and be healthy and keep happy. Do not do more frequently.
