Hello, mild abdominal pain and back pain is often common at 8th month due to pressure of the uterus but if there is a vaginal discharge then there can be a possible vaginal infection which should be ruled out with a high vaginal swab culture.

I think my wife has cysts. But I am not sure. So please tell me what to do and the symptoms. Thank you.
I would advise her to get a transvaginal USG done to find out. Ovarian cysts may be asymptomatic. Or they can be associated with lower abdominal pain, painful periods, pain during intercourse, pressure symptoms. Symptoms depend on the size and nature of the cyst.

If you are sexually active and are not using any regular contraception I would advice you to do a urine pregnancy test first. If negative then get a thyroid function and Hb done. If these are normal and your cycles continue to be regular but scanty then it is important to exclude pelvic infection including tuberculosis.

Eat more in the first half

Eat more in the first half

Your metabolism is not the same in the evening as it was in the morning because you are not as active at night. The level of activity decreases as the day progresses, as does your metabolism. If you must stray from your healthy eating plan, eat more in the first half of the day, during lunch and brunch.

Pain in uterus during having sex?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath,
If the pain occurs due to the dryness of the vagina, you and your partner can use a good lubricant on your private parts. If there is no dryness yet you feel the pain, then you should get your blood and urine tests to see if you have any kind if infection or not. You should also get an ultrasonography done to check for any fibroids, cysts or the like. Tell us about the reports and then we can proceed on to prescribe you medicines to improve your ailments without any delay in the safest holistic way. By any chance, even if there are certain conditions which require to be operated upon according to the allopathic school of medicine, we have medicines in homeopathy which can help you heal to total wellness and perfect health without operations.

Hi Ritu as you are 39years it is expected that you are having low eggs. But you should not wait, try immediately with ovulation induction naturally . You should have diet rich in antioxidants. Chances of natural conception would be low. If you go for IVF you will have better chance.

5 Ways to Bring More Laughter Into Your Life

5 Ways to Bring More Laughter Into Your Life

Laughter is the best medicine, we have all heard this a number of times. It is a well known fact that laughter releases healthy hormones like endorphins and send good signals through the neurotransmitters even as it oxygenates your blood with the huge gulps of air that you take in which also strengthens the immune system. Yet, for many us, not being able to laugh has become a chronic problem as we are so caught up in our day to day struggle, that we forget to smile and laugh or rather, we do not believe that we deserve to be happy. For many people, this is a lost art that they do not know how to bring back. So follow these five tips on bringing more laughter back into your life.

  1. Laughter Club: Join those early morning laughter clubs and get your funny bone working with a session. These sessions usually take place at the park and are a ton of fun to be in. Take a friend or two along and laugh with someone you know. These laughter clubs can be enjoyed by all ages and groups of people.
  2. Intent: Get into the mood with the right intention. Intent can make or break even the most trying situations and there is nothing the body will not do once the mind has decided to do it. So wake up and go to sleep with the intent to laugh more every day, no matter what the situation, so that you spread happiness within and outside and get some company for laughing even more.
  3. Morning Routine: Apart from the laughter club right in the morning, you can make laughing a part of your daily routine from the time you wake up. If you are in the habit of switching on the news or reading the newspaper as you get ready to face the world, chances are that you will less than happy and even slightly morose, by the time you step out of the house. So read the comic strip of your newspaper and enjoy a hearty laugh that will shape the way you look at things the entire day.
  4. Friends: No matter how busy you are, make time for family and friends beyond the routine greetings and meal times. Spend time with the people you love and find things to smile and laugh about.
  5. Comedy Nights: Reserve a special place for comedy nights in your weekly calendar and watch reruns of your favourite episodes from start to finish. Identify a favourite stand up comic and follow him or her! So laugh your troubles away and laugh your way towards a healthier lifestyle (lear more about Lifestyle Changes For a Healthy HEART)!

My periods is a bit irregular. Hoe can I calculate my ovulation and fertile dates?

M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Visakhapatnam
The luteinizing hormone (lh) is consistently detected in your urine. There is an increase in presence 24 to 48 hours prior to ovulation. An ovulation predictor kit detects this increase and lets you know that you are ovulating. As ovulation predictor kits help you identify and confirm when you are ovulating, you should record these dates on your calendar. Whether you look for patterns on the calendar or not, the information will be helpful for a fertility specialist if you find yourself encountering problems when trying to conceive. Charting your cycle? even though your cycle is irregular, it is good to track it on a calendar for a few reasons. First, you may notice some clues that give you a pattern. Second, if you experience fertility problems, the data from your tracking efforts is valuable information to share with your gynecologist or fertility specialist. Cervical mucus? your cervical mucus changes when you ovulate. Cervical mucous during the first few days after your menstrual cycle will be dry. Your cervical mucus will begin to increase. As you approach ovulation, the cervical mucus will be plentiful, slippery, clear, and stretchy. Many women compare the consistency to that of egg whites. Basal body temperatures? your body temperature fluctuates with the onset of ovulation. If you are tracking your basal body temperature, you will find a spike in temperature as ovulation occurs. This lets you know that ovulation is occurring.
