Namaste Sir. I got a speed bump accident. there is no problem in mri report. After doing physio exercises my back pains in lower back reduced but I cannot walk more than 300 feet, I found weakness in lower back muscles and nerves ,cannot sit more than 20 minutes then what should I take treatment?

You can do yoga exercises for the back to strenghthen the muscles. Avoid lifting heavy weights. When bending down to lift something, bend your knees first to lift the object. You can take homoeopathic medicines for the back pain.

When I sit on the ground For 10 To 20 mins and not able to stand for while pain in knee.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

It's 6 month started of my wife she is pregnant the problem is that my wife always complaining me for back pain she says that every time her back is paining and also it's 6 month and she says that she not feels any movement in there so what's the matter why she not feeling any movement of baby We are so tensed for this Pls help.

It is not necessary for movement every time. You can check everything in ultrasound .back pain is common in pregnancy .so you can apply hot pack on back. and do some yoga for pregnancy

I had a major fracture in my little finger of left hand and it's been 3 months since it was operated nd wires had been removed since 2 and half month only now I am not able to fold dat finger. What should I do? Do I need to get it reoperated? Or it can b cured by exercises only? If so can u please tell me about it?

Hi.It will be ok with exercise only but Don avoid in doing exercises otherwise it may become permanently. .In beginning there will be mild pain in bending but Don worry no pains no gsins

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you don't get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

I am 23 years old. I had cesarean delivery 5 years ago. I'm suffering from severe back ache. What do I do?

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear Doctor, I had been operated on my left leg below the knee as i got multiple fractures, it was in the month of Jan 2006. Till now the leg below knee till toes is swollen. When taken rest/ sleeping position keeping legs on pillow the swelling is gradually reducing and later when going to work is it swelling again. Your kind self is requested to advise the solution for the same. Thanks in advance.

Swelling is a common problem after fracture, even after surgery. However we need to make sure that the fracture has united. Are you fully bearing weight on your legs? Do you have a recent x Ray. Please post the x Ray here. If fracture has united, a crepe bandage and physiotherapy will reduce the swelling.

I have an accident & injured . My right knee have ACL tear. Dr. says surgery is only solution. Is this right? Is their any solution of recovery without surgery ?

It will depend upon the grade of tear. Usually grade 1 doesn't require surgery but grade 2 and 3 will have to undergo the surgery. Also post surgical rehab will be very important to bring back the normal strength and function.

Do hot fomentation twice daily. Postural correction- always sit with a small pillow at your low back. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises like bridging and bhujang asana x twice daily. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your sides with a pillow between your knees. And get vit d levels checked. Go for regular walks follow 30-30 rule when at work. After every 30 min of work. Do 30 sec of stretching or stand and walk a bit.
