I am 39 years old male. I have Restless legs syndrome from last 3 months.

MPTh/MPT, BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist,
Every night elevate your legs from one to four hours before going to bed. (Four hours is a really long time – but if your symptoms are severe, this is where you would start, and then wean back as your symptoms subside.) While your legs are elevated pump your ankles up and down, slowly. (When you push your ankle down, slightly curl your toes. When you lift your ankle up, slightly fan your toes.) Pump your ankles 100 times an hour. (Remember – Exercise should always be comfortable. If it hurts, modify the program.) The above exercise program may be all you need to do to eliminate your symptoms. If not, to further help resolve your complaint, add any of the following and see how they help; While your legs are elevated, tighten and relax your knees 50 -100 times an hour. Walk, Run or Bicycle x 30 minutes when you get home from work. Soak in a tub of cool bath water for 20-30 minutes. Have someone massage your feet and legs every night – preferably a circulation massage, where they try to gently push the fluid in your feet and lower legs up towards your heart.calf and hamstring 5-10 stretches before going to sleep, hot or cold bathing before bed, and the performance of mental activities, such as video games, knitting or conversation.30 minutes on a treadmill in the evening may be a great tonic.

From few days I am able to sleep at night .pls any1 tell what should I do to have a good sleep at night hours.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
From few days I am able to sleep at night .pls any1 tell what should I do to have a good sleep at night hours.
Resting at night plays an important role in regulating your daily health and your level of energy throughout a day. Also, not only the quantity but the quality of sleep is also important for a healthy lifestyle. Bedtime habits do play a vital role in shaping up your lifestyle and personality as a whole. Here are many lifestyle habits that can help you to get sound sleep. Excess sleep can be due to anaemia, hypothyroidism or general weakness and a blood test is needed and you may contact me personally by lybrate site for further advice 1. Make regular and a fixed sleep pattern: going to sleep and waking up the same time every day helps to maintain an equilibrium in the sleep-wake cycle called diurnal rhythm. If this balance is maintained, then your body will be accustomed to this pattern and as a result, you will feel less tired and fresh throughout the day 2. Maintain a definite dietary regulation: you should also maintain a proper diet plan and observe the consequences/effects of the foods that you are eating and the fluids that you are drinking on your sleep pattern. Taking a good and properly nutritious diet on a daily basis will help you to stay healthy and help your natural sleep-wake cycle. 3. Ensure that your room has mild or dim lighting or darkness if you prefer: the level of light also matters at the time of your sleep. You should definitely make sure that there is a very minimal level of light or darkness around you when you try to sleep. This should be done because the lesser is the light, the more comfortable you are while sleeping. Additionally, the sleep that you will get in a dark room will also be sound and undistorted as it helps keep all the sensory organs calm. 4). Do some relaxing activities before bedtime: depending on your choice, you should follow simple techniques of relaxation in order to calm down the brain before sleep. Like mediation, yoga or- deep breathing exercise, muscle relaxing activity, visualizing a peaceful setting/ scenario like a calm garden or beach or mountain area. These activities are just guidelines and you can do anything that helps you to get a relaxing mood and sleep. 5). Avoid daytime naps if you can, but having short naps of less than one hour is absolutely okay if you are excessively tired during the day or you did not have a sound sleep the previous night. But, if you are consistently having long naps during the day then you are bound to have sleep issues during the night. So it is advisable to sleep early and wake up early for a healthy schedule. 6) regular exercise: exercising regularly helps to improve the overall quality of sleep by making you tired at night and sending you to bed more efficiently. Light to mild exercises also helps cure sleep disorders like insomnia. Resting at night plays an important role in regulating your daily health and your level of energy throughout a day. What is the symptom of aids how we can safe with it. How it is spread and what is the use of used condoms.

Hello, Most people who have become recently infected with HIV will not have any symptoms. They may, however, have a flu-like illness within a month or two after exposure to the virus, with fever, headache, tiredness, and enlarged lymph nodes (glands of the immune system easily felt in the neck and groin). These symptoms usually disappear within a week to a month and are often mistaken for those of other viral infections. During this period, people are very infectious, and HIV is present in large quantities in blood, semen, and vaginal fluids. More severe HIV symptoms—such as profound and unexplained fatigue, rapid weight loss, frequent fevers, or profuse night sweats—may not appear for 10 years or more after HIV first enters the body in adults, or within two years in children born with HIV infection Prevention:- Because there is no cure or vaccine to prevent HIV, the only way people can prevent infection from the virus is to avoid high-risk behaviours putting them at risk of infection, such as having unprotected sex or sharing needles.

I am 29 year old having pain in my stomach.

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
I am 29 year old having pain in my stomach.
There are a various causes for stomach problems, treatment depends on the location, severity and type of pain. Laboratory tests such as the complete blood count (cbc), liver enzymes, pancreatic enzymes (amylase and lipase), urinalysis are frequently performed in the evaluation of abdominal pain. If you have h. Pylori infection for which I can prescribe a 14 day treatment plan which will eliminate it. Untreated infection causes ulcers in stomach and may finally lead to cancer. If your pain is occurring once in a year and not regular then such types of pain could be amoebic infection, worm infestation or premenstrual cramps. If pain is occurring frequently then get ultrasound abdomen done.
