I get pain in my joints of arms and shoulders. Everytime when I do some work it pains me badly especially when I go somewhere by scooter, I can't handle it properly. I used most of the pain killer pastes and creams but still it's not recovering. I think that I don't have sufficient calcium in my body as my bones are weak which makes my body to pain when doing work. I don't know exactly what should I do.

Apply hot water or ice fermentation in neck and shoulders region 4 to 5 times daily. Avoid pillow while lying. Reduce stress level, Do the breathing exercises. Avoid apply ointment. If it's not reduced consult physiotherapist.

Sir before 3 months ago I had taken dexona and ciplactin tests for 1 month after 1 month I stopped those medicine and I hve typhoid till now I feel like upset stomach and not hunger what should I do? My weight loss very speedily.

I am a 63 years old male. For the last couple of weeks, or more, I am getting itching and scratching feeling at various parts otf the body at various times. It comes suddenly and goes after a little while. Also, suddenly I get red rashes at certain places in the body. These also come and go. Then, I had clotting type red brown on my hand below the elbows. Once in the left hand and once on the right hand. Otherwise, I feel pretty much healthy. I do my vigorous morning exercises like a little bit fast walking and jogging. I do fast cycling lying on my back on my bed. In fact, my heart rate goes upto 88/90 and comes back to 65/70 within a minute. And, in the evening, I do brisk walking for at least 15/20 minutes and climb up the 4 floors, where I live. Can you please suggest what you think could be wrong which is causing this itching and rashes and clotting? Thanks and regards.

Hi as you mentioned about your problems related to skin rashes, reddish and itches, it indicates some imbalance of your metabolism and due to that some toxins are accumulated in blood and it is causing infection to you. I would like to suggest you to follow regular routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as exercise and yoga and morning walk every day. Use light diets and soups of carrots and beetroots and green vegetables and moong daal soups fried with cumin seeds and ghee and garlic. You may use khichari and dariya with green vegetables and moong daal soups fried with cumin seeds and ghee and garlic. Warm milk boiled with haldi twice daily. Avoid oily or junk food, hot spiced and sour products e. G. Pickles etc and nonveg as well as dahi. You may use the following ayurveda medicines as bellow. 1- arogyavardhini vati. 1 tab soot shekhar ras. 1 tab nirocil. 1 tab panchtikta ghrutguggulu. 2tabs twice daily with warm water after break fast and dinner. 2- mahamanjisthadi kwath 10ml sarivadyarist. 15ml with water after meals. The regular use of above prescribed medicines for three months will help you for your problems.

Take high fiber low fat diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Do regular exercise. Ask me privately for customized diet plan for you.

Dear , if a child of 08 yrs age does not have enough maturity, then it should be taken seriously. If teachers and relatives also have same opinion about your child, then you should be alert. Firstly the child should be evaluated for iq and behavioural problem if any. I advise you to go to a psychiatrist/ child psychiatrist/ any centre for national institute of mental health nearby your city at the earliest. Taking expert's help at this stage will be a desirable step.

Yes this is normal if ultrasound is showing heart beat. As her menses were irregular, ovulation is always delayed causing this situation. You have to consider her last menses date as 7 weeks minus the date on which ultrasound is performed, for future calculations of date.

If you feel you are grossly underweight and not gaining weight, first of all you have to check if you have any disease like anaemia or thyroid disease by a blood tests CBC, PBS and TSH. If the tests are normal, you have to do this for gaining weight and follow these steps .1) Estimate your calorie needs for weight gain. First, you need to determine your total energy expenditure (TEE). For thin men, multiply your weight in pounds by 11, and for thin women, multiply your weight in pounds by 10. Then multiply this number by an activity factor. If you get very little activity, use a factor of 1.3; if you get a little exercise or have a job that requires standing, use 1.6 if you're a man and 1.5 if you're a woman; or if you are moderately active, such as with a light labour job, use an activity factor of 1.7 if you're male and 1.6 if you're female. Once you've determined your TEE, add 500 to this number for your total calorie needs for weight gain. 2) Eat five to six small meals a day. Eating smaller meals more often helps prevent you from getting too full, which might help you get in more calories and help you reach your weight-gain goals. 3) Balance your intake. Even though you need to eat more calories to help you fill out, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics says it's still important that you include a variety of foods from all the food groups, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein foods and dairy products. 4) Add calories to your usual foods. For example, at breakfast make your oatmeal with milk instead of water; add cheese and avocado to your sandwich at lunch; and instead of steaming your veggies at dinner, sauté them in olive oil. 5) Snack on high-calorie foods. Fruit and nut mixes, peanut butter on whole-wheat toast, cheese and crackers are all nutrient-rich, high-calorie snack options that can help you gain weight. 6) Drink your calories -- but in a nutritious way. While water is good for hydration, when you want to gain weight it's better to drink beverages that supply calories. Milk and 100 percent fruit juice make the healthiest drink choices. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics also suggests that you drink your fluids in between meals so that it doesn't affect your appetite during mealtimes. 7) The most important gist of the weight gain programme is to Keep a food diary or use an online calorie tracker to help make sure you are meeting your calorie needs. Add non-fat dried milk powder to your milk, soup, yogurt, mashed potatoes and hot cereal. A 1/4-cup serving of the powder adds 109 calories and 11 grams of protein. To help make sure you gain muscle and not fat, add strength training to your exercise routine.

See, usual amount of semen is 1.5 to 5 ml, and usual duration of ejaculation is 3-5 min in majority of individuals. However, drinking affects sexuality badly, either quit it or moderate it for better sex and personal life. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Weight reduction can not be done over night. You have to take it as a way of life. Do diet control. No sugar in tea, coffee, milk etc. No sweets take small frequent feeds. When you get used to it, skip one meal. You should do non weight bearing yoga exercises.

Hello lybrate-user, ankles are weight bearing joints and as your weight is on higher side it is causing strain on the ankle joints. Dear lybrate user, weight loss and management is depends upon the calory. You must take your diet according to calory. Take low calory green leafy vegetables and fruits etc. Which are easy to digest as well as containing vitamins, minerals etc. Don't take heavy food, fast food, junk food, oliy food, spicy food, rice, potato etc. Drink more water 3 litres in a day. Manage the stress and anger. Regular walking for an hour 5 days in a week. Regular do yogasana / pranayam / exercise etc can help you in weight loss. Don't skip breakfast. Regular take breakfast good. But take less diet in dinner. Take easily digestible food more. Take protein rich diet more. Avoid high sugar diet sweets, rice, potatoes etc.
