I am getting knee pain. I can't stand continuously. I can't kneel down even a minute.
Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Hi, welcome to lybrate. Your knee and stomach pain may not necessarily be related. Knee pain at your age can arise due to multiple causes inclusion injury, gout, any kind of arthritis, low vitamin d levels, infection or weakness of muscle to name a few. A thorough examination will be useful to find the cause. Some blood tests fasting including hb, tlc, dlc, esr, vitamin d, uric acid, anti ccp, calcium, phosphorous, alkaline phosphotase, pth along with x ray knee ap and lateral views in standing position will be useful. In the meantime you can learn quadriceps strengthening exercises from a physiotherapist and do them 20 mins 3 times a day to strengthen your knee muscles. Avoid squatting on floor, sitting on indian toilet and excessive stair climbing. Revert back with investigations reports.

Dear Gas is common after delivery. It is causing the pain. Take a laxative to clean your stomach and do not eat anything that is causes digestive disorder or gas. Drink adequate anount of hot water daily with a little soonth (dry ginger powder) Take regular massage to bring back health and strength. Regards.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

She is most probably having condition named plantar fascitis. Treatment involves footwear with soft soles or silicon soles (can get them at any surgical store) along with combination of diclofenac with seratiopeptidase for 10 days twice daily after food.

Hi I am weighing around 85 kg now n unable to loose weight inspite of brisk walk of 30 to 45 min daily n good diet plans (from reputed dieticians). In past 6 years I have lost 10 to 12 kgs 3 times with aerobics twice n once yoga n assigned diet. I have done the test of vit b12 n thyroid. They r normal. Inspite of having knee pain (hv been reduced but not completely) from 8 months, I do diet n walk (did suryanamaskars but left due to fear in within these 8 months) but unable to loose. Tat demotivates me a lot. Can anyone guide tat can give fruitful results.

Tips to lose weight  faster: 1. Eat a high-protein breakfast. 2Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice.  3. Drink water a half hour before meals. 4. Choose weight loss-friendly foods (more vegetables and fruits) 5. Eat soluble fiber. 6. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods.  7. Eat your food slowly. 8. Sleep 7-8 hours 9. Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

I have chondromalacia patella, 1 & half years bfr doc hv done arthroscopy, my leg twisted aftr 2 month ,worst pain started again, standing more than 5 min is painful, I can't walk properly nw, during walking m giving pressure on another leg, so another knee also paining nw, bcoz of continuous bed rest from 10 months lower back pain started, doing physio everyday for knee, bcoz of diet my wt is 55 height 5.2,still I hv prob to live normal life.

6 Ways To Manage Back Pain!

Whether you're old or young, male or female, having a backache can be a real pain! A number of factors ranging from osteoarthritis to muscle strains can be attributed to back pains. No matter what the cause of a backache, a combination of core strengthening exercises, activity, and physical therapy can help lessen the pain.

A backache can be caused by something as simple as bending the wrong way. Hence, the first step towards dealing with a backache is to pay attention to daily movements. If you have to lift something heavy off the floor, bend your knees and let the weight of your load fall on your legs instead of it falling on your back. Here is more on how you can fight back pain with a bit of effort:

1. Light exercises
Simple, light exercises are the most effective ways of dealing with back pain. The key to exercising your back is moderation and knowing your limits.

2. Brisk walk and yoga
Regular brisk walks and yoga exercises that strengthen and stretch back muscles are effective ways to reduce and prevent back pain.

3. Right posture
Exercise can also help reduce excess weight that in turn helps reduce backaches. Slouching not only causes a hunch back but also aggravates back aches. Hence, maintain a right posture to take the pressure off nerves and lower back pain.

4. Proper posture while sleeping
A good night's sleep can also help soothe inflamed back joints and repair strained muscles. Pay attention to your mattress and ensure that your back is flat when you lie on it. Sleeping on your side can also help deal with the back pain. Consider resting your neck on a pillow, to keep your spine aligned while you sleep.

5. Hot & cold therapy
Experiment with hot and cold therapy before picking one of them to deal with your back pain. While applying ice packs on your back can help reduce inflammations, hot packs work better to reduce cramps and muscle spasms. Whether you use a hot pack or a cold pack, do not leave it on for more than 20 minutes.

6. Natural supplements
Natural supplements such as flaxseed oil, calcium, magnesium and vitamin C are helpful when dealing with back pains.

For short-term relief, you could also try over the counter pain relievers. However, do not let this become a long-term habit, as your body could get dependent on it. Other potential side effects could include stomach and liver problems. Hence, if your backache does not subside on its own, it is best to consult a doctor before treating it yourself.

Dear, low back pain are often referred for physical therapy for four weeks as an initial conservative (nonsurgical) treatment option before considering other more aggressive treatments, including back surgery. Back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

Prolonged sitting for long hours naturally will increase your pain. - to relieve your pain apply soft cushion to your seat with back rest to avoid back pain and - every 1 hour kindly do some stretching exercises.
