How Ayurvedic Remedies Are Helpful For Gastritis?

Your stomach is lined with a mucosal membrane known as the mucosa and due to a variety of factors, it may become inflamed. This inflammation may cause a lot of problems and complications which are grouped under gastritis.
Symptoms of gastritis

  1. Upper abdominal pain,
  2. Hiccups
  3. Diarrhea,
  4. Nausea
  5. Heartburn
  6. Constipation
  7. Reduction of appetite
  8. Blood in the stool amongst the others

Gastritis can be quite debilitating and limiting for the people affected by it.

The Ayurveda approach
Ayurveda is a holistic form of medicine which takes into account many factors rather than just the physical disposition and symptoms that strives to cure the patients of the illness in a well-rounded manner. To this effect, Ayurveda helps you treat this problem with multiple angles of attack such as herbal medications and special cleansing therapies among many others. Let’s take a look at some of the methods usually employed in various combinations among the patients.

  1. Changes in dietConsuming any diet which has a lot of spicy and rich foods over prolonged periods may result in gastritis and other problems. If you already have gastritis, then certain other types of food also need to be excluded such as tea, coffee, sour foods, chilies and buffalo milk among others. These food groups are excluded as they may increase the acidity of the stomach which may cause an escalation of the problems. Some of the foods that may help with gastritis are grapes, pumpkins, bitter gourd, pomegranate, melons and cucumber, etc.
  2. Natural remedies: Some natural remedies that can be very effective in dealing with the symptoms of gastritis are mentioned below
    • Ajwain and rock salt have been an age old remedy in treating multiple gastrointestinal disorders and can be effective in this case as well.
    • Lemon juice is also very effective in treating symptoms or gastritis and also reducing inflammation.
    • Take amla, ginger, and licorice either in a raw form or as a dried option or mixed with other things such as milk or honey. These help in regulating and reducing the acidity within the stomach.
  3. Ayurvedic medications: There are many specialized Ayurvedic medications which can be used to treat gastritis such as:
    • Amalaki choorna
    • Avipattikara choorna
    • Sootashekhara rasa
    • Sukumara Ghrita
    • Dhatri Lauha

I have been getting blood from upper right side of Gums.especially when i went to Bath room bleeds some what But this is not happens Daily. It appears weekly couple or third.

It could be because of deposition on teeth so get that cleaning done by dentist and after that maintain oral hygiene and your problem will be solved

Avoid spicy food in your diet and Also avoid peanuts and potatoes in your diet and take tablet pan- D before breakfast

Hi. My home treatment for pcod has been going on since jan this year. My periods have been regular also. My face is normally clear with one or two pimples sometimes. Since d past 2 or more weeks ive been noticing more pimples on my face which take a lot of time to go away. Also I cn see very tiny pimples also which are many in number. Also my last period date was 29 july n have not had them till now. Request advice.

You are probably referring to gingival recession, which usually happens in advancing gum disease (Periodontitis). It may also happen due to excessively vigourous toothbrushing. In any case, get it checked so the reason might be identified and appropriate remedy suggested.

Sir I am G. Satyanarayana. I am 51 year old male. I am suffering from hernia. Is hernia dangerous? What should I do know?

For relief from Hernia- * Take lots of High fiber diet such as green vegetables, fruits, corn, oats. Such diet soften the stools and avoids constipation. * Avoid coughing & if you are suffered with cough get its treatment as early as possible. As coughing increase the pain in Hernia & chances of emergency raise. * Do not sit on floor with legs bend because it raises the pressure in belly & it can increase your hernia. * During walk or working time wear the supporter as it support the abdomen & help the body to heal the hernia. * Drink a glass of milk with protien powder everyday so that the muscle gain the strength to get relief from hernia.

For ideal body weight. World health organization who has defined bmi, body mass index. Its a special ratio of weight & height. Bmi should be within 18 to 25. Above 25, it will be over weighted. Above 30, its obesity. Your bmi is above 33. You should strictly reduce weight. Your weight should 70 for bmi. Ideal: 60 to 67 according to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice we are offering ayurveda course for obesity.

  1. Squat pose: This yoga position works by improving your pelvic joints and targets your inner thigh muscles, abdominals, and your pelvic floor. The pose is also found to be beneficial in stimulating your spleen and sex glands (gonad). For this, you need to stand with your feet wide apart and your toes facing outward. Join your palms together in front of your heart, and slowly bring them down in the direction of the mat, stopping just before you touch the floor. Position your biceps behind your knees so that they are spread out while helping your spine to maintain its stretched position.
  2. Chair pose: In this pose, your pelvic region is targeted and helps you to establish a better control over your sexual organs. It works by lifting your pelvic floor as you go about lowering your tailbone. Begin by bringing your feet together before assuming a sitting position. Keep your tailbone stretched when you lift your pelvic floor to stretch the spine.

You can also try some foods to rev up your sex life:

  1. Almonds: Almonds have always been associated as stimulants. They are rich in nutrients and other minerals that help in boosting your sexual health and also aid in the process of reproduction.
  2. Strawberries: They not only look delicious, but are rich in folic acid, one that keeps away birth defects in women.
  3. Figs: Though this fruit may look funny, they serve as excellent aphrodisiacs and boost fertility. Filled with both soluble and insoluble fiber, they are equally beneficial for the heart.
  4. Citrus: Apart from its excellent taste, this fruit is rich in with vitamin C, antioxidants and folic acid, which help in the reproductive health of men.
  5. Spinach: This green vegetable is filled with plenty of advantages, but it is also beneficial for the bedroom. It reduces exhaustion and fatigue and provides the much needed energy.
