Hi, you need medication as well as psychotherapy for this. Practice mindfulness: The primary goal of mindful breathing is simply a calm, nonjudging awareness, allowing thoughts and feelings to come and go without getting caught up in them. Sit comfortably, with your eyes closed and your spine reasonably straight. Bring your attention to your breathing. Imagine that you have a balloon in your tummy. Every time you breathe in, the balloon inflates. Each time you breathe out, the balloon deflates. Notice the sensations in your abdomen as the balloon inflates and deflates. Your abdomen rising with the in-breath, and falling with the out-breath. Thoughts will come into your mind, and that’s okay, because that’s just what the human mind does. Simply notice those thoughts, then bring your attention back to your breathing. Likewise, you can notice sounds, physical feelings, and emotions, and again, just bring your attention back to your breathing. You don’t have to follow those thoughts or feelings, don’t judge yourself for having them, or analyse them in any way. It’s okay for the thoughts to be there. Just notice those thoughts, and let them drift on by, bringing your attention back to your breathing. Whenever you notice that your attention has drifted off and is becoming caught up in thoughts or feelings, simply note that the attention has drifted, and then gently bring the attention back to your breathing. It's okay and natural for thoughts to enter into your awareness, and for your attention to follow them. No matter how many times this happens, just keep bringing your attention back to your breathing.

Dear Lybrate user Masturbation doesn't cause any kind of physical weakness or loss of energy. It is very common myth. So don't worry. So stop blaming yourself and don't be in guilt of Masturbation. Physically it will not cause any weakness. But very rarely when people get addicted to it and do it very often - it affects ones professional focus and concentration. So focus on your physical health + professional life and in free time you can surly masturbate which will not cause any weakness. I hope this answer resolves your doubt. If yo want to know more about improving your sexual health and sexual energy you can check my profile or consult me privately.

I suffer from social anxiety. I cannot attend social gatherings, my heart races, sweat, I feel dizzy. Please help.

You may be an introvert. This is a problem of fearing people for what they think about you. Yes, people will often judge you but that is not the final word. When we try to read other people?s mind we will always think that they know the worst things about you, that your flaws are easily visible, and then you feel self-conscious and guilt. This is all far from the truth. People do not know you, even if they are married to you for many years! In fact, you do not know yourself for many years and may go to your grave with a minimum understanding of yourself. So, face people with confidence, knowing that they are the least knowledgeable about you. Sometimes, your family may not have socialized much and that can also give you a disadvantage about mixing and meeting people. This can be unlearned and you can make a new beginning and easily become a social butterfly. Many people have hesitations about social situations and are in the same boat: you have a lot of company. The bottom line is that you have fear: deal with your fear and people will seem different, and not so threatening. This ability is a natural ability in all of us. If it was not stimulated early in your life, now is not too late. We are all gregarious by nature, and need each other, to the extent that we are all interdependent. I recommend that you attend a personality development course, attend the Toastmasters Club, and meet people by attending conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, and social clubs. In time this anxiety will dissipate and disappear, completely.

Please talk to your doctor who has been treating you. Since the tablet induces sleep , it's always safe to sleep after taking that. It will help you sleep nicely. Do not do any work after taking the medication as there is less alertness. Please ensure that you take good care of your health by adapting a disciplined and focused healthy routine. ( Diet and daily exercise everyday are also equally important part of any treatment. )

Sex With a Sore Penis: Some Helpful Hints!

MD - General Medicine

Sex With a Sore Penis: Some Helpful Hints!

One of the major drawbacks to a sore penis is that it can get in the way of having sex. After all, when a guy's member is tender and easily pained, engaging in the vigorous exercise that is part and parcel of a good sexual encounter may make it ache even more. But with the right approach to penis care, men with a moderately sore organ don't have to walk away from a potential encounter.

Here's how:

Opt for oral.

With a really sore penis, any kind of sex is going to create some pain, along with the pleasurable sensations. However, penetrative sex and masturbation (by oneself or by a partner) tend to create more friction than oral sex (assuming that the person performing the oral sex is careful to keep their teeth from scraping against the penis). Suggesting oral sex as the method of inducing pleasure can make the experience much more engaging for the male with a tender appendage.

Make preparations.

If penetrative sex is definitely on the menu, the male will want to make sure that the vagina is solidly prepared for the insertion of the penis. Engaging in extended foreplay will help the woman's natural lubricants to flow more freely, making it easier to insert the penis and also cut down on excess friction during intercourse.

Bring on the lube.

A man with a sore penis shouldn't leave it all up to his partner to make sure all parts are well lubricated - and especially if anal sex is on the menu. Using plenty of lubricant is essential as well.

However, a guy should be a bit careful in selecting the appropriate lube. Many products try to entice buyers by adding ingredients, such as fragrances or aromas. Penises with very sensitive skin - especially those which are especially sore - may react negatively to such ingredients.

Avoid toys (for him).

Sex toys can be a brilliant addition to a couple's sexual repertoire, and many a man has found that using a cock ring or a vibrator adds to his orgasmic sensations. When sore, however, it's advisable to avoid male sex toy use.

On the other hand, this may be an excellent time to increase the use of the sex toys for the partner, in order to help start natural lubricants flowing.

Be okay with stopping.

Some men feel that once they get started with intercourse, they are committed to finishing. But if a guy finds that sex is causing his sore penis to hurt too much, he owes it to himself to stop. After explaining why he needs to pull out, he can still continue to pleasure his partner orally or manually.

When possible, a man should avoid having sex with a sore penis; in most cases, just letting the penis rest for a day or so gets it back into good sex-worthy shape. It also is beneficial to regularly apply a first class penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil). When the penis is sore, the skin is raw and needs to be soothed and re-moisturized. Use of a crème that sports a combination of hydrators (such as natural shea butter and vitamin E) can supply the "moisture lock" that the penis so desperately needs in this situation. Ideally, the crème should also include vitamin B5. Also known as pantothenic acid, this vitamin boosts penile cell metabolism and helps to keep penile tissues healthy and refreshed. A sore penis will thank his owner for making a good penis health crème a part of his healing process. A sore penis will thank his owner for making a good penis health crème a part of his healing process.
