PDD or Pervasive Developmental Disorder is a condition that involves developmental issues with basic skills. The most notable sign is an inability to socialize or communicate. The condition presents signs at an early age of 3 years. Symptoms include temper tantrums, difficulty in sleeping, aggressive behaviour and anxiety.

A Pediatric/General Physician diagnoses Pdd by performing a physical examination and blood tests.
HOW IS PDD TREATED?
Certain behavioral problems associated with PDD can be addressed through medication. Some children with PDD may require specialized classrooms where instructions are given on a one-one basis.
