Nosebleed is defined as a condition where there is a little bleeding from the nose. It can be from either the anterior or posterior region. Bleeding from the nose can happen because of physical injury or even stress and anxiety. The most common symptom associated with this form of bleeding would be blood triggering from the nose area, which starts dripping out.

Ear-nose-throat specialists may conduct a thorough examination of the nose and check for injury to other parts of face and head. Other diagnostic tests are complete blood count test, nasal endoscopy, CT-scan of nose and X-ray of face and nose to find cause of nosebleeds
HOW IS NOSEBLEEDS TREATED?
The common, regular nosebleeds can be treated at home. Cold compress can help. In case of frequent episodes of nosebleeds, medical technique of cauterization is used.
