BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERTROPHY
Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH) is an enlarged prostate gland. The prostate gland surrounds the urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder out of the body. As the prostate gets bigger, it may squeeze or partly block the urethra. This often causes problems with urinating. It is common in men as they age and it is not a cancer.

The treatment for BPH involves medicines, surgery, laser, Transurethral incision of the prostate (TUIP), Transurethral microwave therapy (TUMT), Transurethral needle ablation of the prostate (TUNA), High-intensity ultrasonographic energy therapy, Prostatic stents and Laparoscopic prostatectomy
