When the valve that lies between the main pumping cavity and the primary artery, or the aorta, do not function properly together, it can manifest into aortic valve disease. A patient can suffer from aortic valve stenosis or aortic valve regurgitation, which are the two types of this disease. A patient suffering from this disease is said to typically suffer from seven types of symptoms including dizzy spells, shortness of breath, inflammation of the pulmonary region, and others.
HOW IS AORTIC VALVE DISEASE DIAGNOSED?

A cardiologist may prescribe antibiotics to treat the symptoms and less the chance of further valve damage. Surgery may be considered to correct the problem. Common drugs are : diuretics, antiarrhythmic medications, beta blockers, ACE inhibitors and anticoagulants
