The class of bacteria called Bacillus Anthracis causes this infection known as Anthrax. Most treatment methods are successful in curing anthrax. Pulmonologists may treat pulmonary anthrax through continuous administration of intravenous therapy and antibiotics. There are vaccines available for treating anthrax.
